like 2 years ago, new england patriots is gonna whoop some candy ass on those carolina panthers and bring back the lombardi trophy, where it belongs. 14 win streak and still counting.

Carolina's Defense is number one in NFL right now and the way their Defense blitz against Donvan McNabb the quarterback of Eagles, it is hard to imagine that Patriots' Offensive Linemen will be able to protect Tom Brady in the pocket. If Patriots' O Line let the Panthers defensive linebackers blitz against quarterback like in the Eagles game, The New Englander are in deep shit.

Quest Bro- you are right on for "Always remember Defense wins the Game!!!" part but wrong on Panther being #1 ranked Defense on NFL. They are ranked #1 on NFC only, not NFL.
Guess who is # 1 ranked Defense on NFL??? YES, THAT IS PATRIOTS... you are right Defense wins the GAME and that is why PATRIOTS are 4 points favorites.....

yeah, I stand corrected on that one. Yeah Carolinas are #1 defense in NFC. But The Carolinas defense is based on Blitzing towards the QB unlike Patriots. I still believe if Carolinas shut down the passing game of Tom Brady, they will have hard time against carolinas

Yeah, you could be right... Panther Defense can give Tom Brady a little hard time but not like Patriot's Defence to Pather's whole Ofence. Don't forget if PATs can shut down ofence of mighty COLTS and hot TITANS then Pathers will be cake (well, not that easy but PATs will WIN through :-))....
Also, didn't PATs win Eagles(31-10) at Phiily 2nd game of the season coming after horrible game with Bills(Damn that Lawyer Mellow)......We are keep winning and justl one more to go...

Aight!! I couldn't keep myself away from posting... I am big time Pats fan... Go pats go.... . Even though you never know what happens in 'best of one game', I strongly believe Pats will win the super bowl. Yes, as a sports fan, I also agree to the fact that defense always wins the game. Yet, Pats have not lost their winning streak of 14-0 since last October, so tell me how could they do that without a good defense. Carolinas was #1 defense in NFC, but Pats will overcome their defense....just like they did to red hot COLTS n TITANS... They conquered two MVPs.... Trust me, Pats are something this year. DO NOT UNDERESTIMASTE THEM. Two years ago, people said Pats' win was a fluke.. Believing that nothing is fluke in Sports, I would say Pats deserve SB this year. Brady..just be careful of interceptions since both teams are good at that.
Anyways, welcome to the Pats to their 4th appearance in SUPER BOWL:)

damn i didn't know that i'd get this many reply but anyhow, somebody said defense wins the game.hell yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....no wonder pats won 14 games in a ROWWWWWW. and what about them panthers, they're 11-4 in the regular season. and if you forgot we had 4 INTERCEPTION. 4 INTERCEPTION. media talking about the front 4 of panthers, but we let action speak more than words... by the way we're going to the superbowl 2 times in 3 years.

and its aint like the pats' o-lines a pushover

but if the panthers get the running game going, it'll be tough for the patriots to win. And the biggest disadvantage to the patriots this time will be they won't be playing out in the snow :-P

We PATS always have been the media underdog for so many years.Finally we are getting some respect despite having a HALL OF FAME caliber player. We play as a team and win as a team. We don't have big mouth like other players. We just play our game.So this is the year to establish a PATS dynasty. guys just chill out.....esp NYers.Your team sucks big time. GO PATS......WIN IT ALL.

FIVE DAYS n counting for the VICTORIOUS PANTHERS to win thier First ever? superbowl......cmon guys..never understimate ur opposition.. IF carolina run the ball effectively, they got this one! they will win !!! dont forget patriots, they r good, but can they stop the runnin game and the big plays from delhomme?
i know PATS been there, done that...but hey...remmeber THE RAMS>.they also went to superbowl 2 times in three years..but what happened...i hope u all remember the score... YES! its not easy to win 2 in three years... on the other hand, CAROLINA has nothing to lose...they already proved that they r the team to beat when the score is low..i dont think its gonna be the scoring game ..should be under 25....thus, CAROLINA HAS THE EDGE OVER THE PATS!!!

there is no way that the panthers can win the super bowl. but, even if they score more than 10 points against the no. 1 defense, i will start thinking very highly of them. for Pats, it is just gonna be another routine win.
