My personal opinion about his statement is - what he said is absolutely right. But, the main thing, how far truth there is, in his saying? It is easily said than done. One can design and create a very very beautiful words to impress people. We can not trust anyone by his words....but by action. Why can't he show his heart by donating what he gets to poor hungry children? How much does he need? Why have they to go to UK for simple checkup? He has so much property, businesses already which brings him crores of rupees a year. He knows that people are tired of politicians and hate them. Mind you, I can prepare him for better interview than this one.

I am not a fan of king or supporter of any of his recent controversial royal moves, but one thing is for sure. If there is anybody (if at all), then it's the king who has love for the country. Simply for the fact that if there is no country, there is no king. Politicians will never learn from this ordeal. They are just a bunch of power hungry, corrupt being incapable of ruling the country. Govinda, Rabindra, Khadka are just a few examples from so many who have looted the country. These are the same people who gave birth to maoists. I would rather risk the country's future in King's trust than our evil politicians who have aspirations that are limited within the circles of their family and relative's well being. What's the use of the so called democracy when the country is heading towards ruins? I love democracy, but I am afraid our politicians are not up to it. All we want is peace, security and a sense of well being PERIOD!

One thing I know certainly about myself is I get tired of the same old stuff. Our mind always look fo change - new one, always new one. King Gyanendra is a exactly like his father King Mahendra. Our hate towards politicians and their corrupt nature has prompted us to like him. This is the situation now. But I can guarantee you, in few years - you'll be bored with his dictatorship and start disliking him. This is our nature. We have already such experiences, many times in the past. I support everything he said. But my only question is - wiill he hand over power to people once everything is alright? I don't know... To get answer to this question, one must first have the experiences of power, I think.

Many people will like what the king had to say. That is because he decided to be interviewd to have that very effect. Whether you agree with the king or disagree with him should be based on his actions and not his words. We should also realise that even if the king, has the most noble intentions, he is still capable of taking the wrong actions. So, it is his actions we should judge and not his words or intentions.
