I am wondering what is he holding. Pet cat? A little dog? What is that?

Yes, the analogue of the burning tyre is in the purpose it is serving-warming the desperate or pasioning the lusty, greedy aspirations of those who have already tasted the glory of power. Yes, these are the real pictures of our contemporary Nepal, just a glimpse, the gallery is a big one for us to visualize in our life time. KK

biswo, are you from Mars? Can't you distinguish between cat and dog? I doubt if you have the ability to separate right with wrong?

Hey, those are not my words. I just copied and pasted it from the Nepal magazine. I only suggest people to post the caption as well when they post pictures from other sources. That picture was taken by Gopal Chitrakar.

Yes the picture was by Gopal Chitrakar and the caption was in the magazine. I took the caption out to see what sajhaites has to say about just the picture! Anyways the caption is also nicely put together! This picture shows us how well off we are and how under privileged a lot of our future citizens are back home. If we can get with Gopal Chitrakar and coordinate with something like National Geographic, this picture is surely going to be a classic shot! Remember the afghan girl's picture? This one picture alone says a lot about the really bad situation our motherland is going through. There are lots to blame and no one has come forward with a solution so far! The life of that kid in the picture and the life of lots of nepalese worldwide is in a limbo at the same time.

Oh Boy! This boy's picture reminded me of my younger days. I just worried about the dying fire that would take warmth away from me and my puppy. I am glad I overcame those days but my heart is with the boy and his puppy. Stay Warm! Boy! How about doing something for those boys? Do you feel responsible for this boy from the home ???

At least, whoever can contact gopal chitrakar we can coordinate and have this picture forwarded to National Geographic for front cover picture there and any royalty received(if received) can go this boy for his education and other kids like him in the streets of kathmandu.
