Time
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,

PF is one of my best bands of all time. I was just listening this "time" song this morning while driving on my way to work. This band is just awesome.

I was listening to Time as well when I was driving to work this morning and it was very relaxing in some way. But I had never read the actual lyrics so while driving I was thinking I am going to read the lyrics today. Pretty cool stuff...

Time is one of my fav. songs. I have listened to many great lyrics, but the following lines of this song simply outweigh the rest:
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
No wonder, Dark side of the moon remained in the charts for record 1000 weeks :). Today many can make songs and have hits overnite, but not everyone can make history. A legend is still a legend. PF RULES :)
