Do they have a website? If so, could you post it here please? I always pay too much to make calls to Nepal and don't have that much time to look for best deal. Thanks in advance........... peace in Nepal Luckydude |

thanks leepi. You are right; it is 1-866-mynepal. Can somebody tell me why they have letters instead of numbers? I mean, everytime I see a 1-800 number, there are usually letters in the end. I don't get it. It makes a little more complicated to dial the number. Or is it because they want you to remember their phone number? For instance 1-866-mynepal is easier to remember than 1-866-696-3725. peace in Nepal Luckydude |

Luckydude- You answered your won questions. Yes, they want you to remember their #. it is called good advertisement\ marketing. I believe, if It it is available, you can request the toll free # from phone company matching your business name... |

How about HIMTEL Cards from HIMTEL.COM? Himtel cards are expensive compare to other cards on the market but it connects every time and very clear like talking to your friends next door. Customer service is very good as well. This is one of the best card I have ever used.... |

Nirvana, I buy phone cards from Himtel.com, but they are awfully expensive. I am a student here and don't have that much money to spend on phone cards. Most of the time, their connection is good, but two days ago, I made a phone call and couldn't hear anything. 1-866-mynepal does have a webite. Go to - http://www.telnepal.com for more information. peace in Nepal Luckydude |

...I checked the site..but could not find minutes they provide for $10, and $5..could anyone help me in it...and also..I have been using calling cards from nepbiz.com..you may also wanna check that out..It has quite a nice deal..They give 31 mins for $ 5... |

The thing with the calling cards is not about the minutes. It's about the quality. Let's say you get 60 minutes of talk time only for $5, but if it is hard to connect, poor sound, and connection fee, it's not worth it. Also, pay close attention to hidden charges. Some companies do have hidden charges. patali, u r right. They don't have any information on their website, but the guy was telling me that you get 51 minutes for $10 and that's a pretty good deal because I get only 26 minutes for $10 from Himtel.com. He also asked me to buy a $2 card that will give me 10 minutes of time to make sure the sound is ok. You might want to do that. Call them for more information. peace in Nepal Luckydude |

I won't say that himtel's the best....I agree they were the best but i guess..not these days....i got one recently for 10 bucks ...first of all it does not connects at all....second,there goes one ring and u'll hear some note as if the person is not picking....please try later....(this try later things goes on for days) and if that wasn't enough....ur minutes and money goes in vain even for trying...like u'll here nothing for a minute then there'll be a busy tone and there goes ur bucks. I'm not being cynical here coz i know himtell's rate is the best BUT if and only IF they work at all. so think of that. |

Hi Guys, I also spend lots of money to call to Nepal. I have already tried many cards from website. I have already tried the calling cards of MyNepal which is located in 65th PL Street, Woodside New York. It is also not so good. I recommed you guys to use the card of Dhukuti.com. It is best for one time call. They have the cards of $5 and $10 Values. You can buy it online at www.dhukuti.com also you can buy by phone too. The sound and connection is really good. It sounds like local call when you talk by using their card. Also, you guys can buy the card from Therichcom.com. They have some good cards like MTI AFRICA the minute they have advertised is 48 for $5. But it gives exactly 28 minutes it has no connection fee. I have already tried it. Also I recommend you guys another website for best calling card which is: www.phonecards-prepaid.com Most important if some of you guys are around Queens New York, Go to the Jackson heights. You can find varieties of calling card in low price. You can get 25% discount on each card. You have to pay just $3.75 for $5 cards. Hopefully, these website will be helpful to find a best cards. Wish you best of Luck! |
