Mom the World

Like any other mom, my mom is also a beautiful lady, so strong, so loving and so very caring. I don’t remember a single incident when she was harsh on us. We were three, my brother, my sis and I, always in to mischief! She was always gentle with words no matter what degree of mistakes we made. I cannot count the quality time I must have spent with her since I stepped in to this world; no body ever counts the time he or she spent with their parents. But I still remember the day when I consciously noticed her. It was almost 10:00 pm at night; every one else at home had already slept. She called me in her room. She was sitting on a chair and her face was lit with the moon light diffused through tiny window panes. She was looking even more beautiful. I am sure I was just hung there by the door thinking what she wanted to tell me. But as usual her words were very kind. She said to me “Na (that’s what she always calls me) I am old and need to remember, you are young and still need to learn, if I forget the words, will you remember the music?”

That night I did not probably understand the meaning of what she said to me. But today, her words are very close to my heart. She as a music to an instrument gives completeness to my being. Every step I take or mistake I make her words reminds me “you still need to learn”. In the form of music the values and morals she taught me is deep rooted in such a way that I am really proud of the music I got from her. Every time I think of my mom, I think of the warm smile she wore for me and I find her all around me “My mom my world”.

I have been following this thread for a while now everyone said their own views, feelings and thoughts about their mom But what about those who never knew who mom is, who never had a chance to listen to her advices and all those scoldings with full of love who never knew how warm a mom's hug could be ,who always knew where his mom was but no matter how hard he tried could never be there ,

I know your lips are pale,
as i took away your smile.
your eyes r wet ,
as i washed away your dreams
your hearts r heavy beacuse of me.

everytime u touched me ,
i can feel the blessings
every time u smile
i can see the flowers bloom
and new world born

what i am today
is all your sufferings of yesterday
i still remember those long nights
when i was in pain and u were there beside me

But i swear that one day will come
when your lips will be red
and tears will fade
i will give u all the happiness of the world
with asking nothing in retun
jus the way u been doin frm the very first day i called ya name

i will bring back all your dreams
i will be there to support when u r to fall
i will give u so much happiness that never after that day
u will know wht sorrow is
i am gonna bring back your sunshine
and have them their for you for rest of ya life

mamu i miss u alot

Mother you do so much for me,
without ever wanting anything in return.........
Except for me to be happy

come rain or sunshine
i know dad you wil always
lift me high above all the discomforts

Thanks Simple Gal, bjkriti, U-day, and Kevin_np for liking ¡§Mom the World¡¨ and finding your mom in mine. Yes, Simple Gal my mom is my best friend too.
And Kevin_np, yours is ¡§dad the world¡¨ right? ƒº It does not matter which one as long as one of them is with us. There are many who have to do without either of them and are still happy. Where ever they always want us to smile and be happy all the time.

U-day, who does not like free calling cards? We are, let me count, cluding MeERAji we are 8 in the queue and we hope it will arrive before mothers¡¦ day!!! Thanks with smile..
