Dear Puruji: I had attended the 'kabi-goshth' in Atlanta, and I think the effort of the organizers was really remarkable. It was after a long time that I had a chance to listen to such beautiful poems. I think US based Nepalese tried hard, but their poems were still inferior to the one that came from Nepal. The judges were respected individuals and their decision was very gratifying one.It was sad that the best poets were not physically present there. Among the poets who were actually present,Mr Ramesh Khakurel was exhilarating and consummate in his impromptu poems and squibs. I hope your organization can organize 'kabi-goshthi' of such massive scope again.Wish you all the best. |
