Spark, Thanx but I read about it few days back. The best part is this guy - the Sahara CEO, he started his company in 1978 with 47USD and his company is work around 10 billion USD. Isnt this just amazing. This fact was more interesting to me than what he spend on his son's wedding.

I guess what you do with your money is totally upto you and you could choose to utilize it, just the way you want to. Yes Mr. Roy is feedng 140,000 poor people, or distributing $5000 to couples. Started his business with $47 dollars and all that colorful stuff. Nevertheless, such a setting would be better suited for the bling bling atmosphere of Bollywood where everybody is flashing their green notes and talking of vacations to Sychelles, or a rare dinner of piranhas in Japan.

Hey I am no Mother Theresa, so I am not here to judge. But when the immediate vicinity is reeking with poverty, I think throwing a wedding of that magnitude seems rather insensitive.

dzling's kt, Sahara chief can now afford such lavashing marriage. Anyone would want such event to occur in their lifetime if they are such filthy rich. Anyone who have seen S Roy, he used to riding in old rajdoot and a Rs 2000/mo salary 30 years ago.
