Attention all People, I would like to bring out a serious problem that I encountered with a so call Royal Nepalese Army, fell free to share if you have gone through a similar predicament.
I understand the ramification of being a Army personal in this kind of state situation, but
Such situation does not give them any rights to harass any people that they see on the streets, story goes like this.
As you all know there is spontaneous check point at nights for vehicle and such,
Which I understand for security purpose, One night me and my family was returning from a restaurant , driving back to our home we came across a check point ,once we pulled up we could smell how intoxicated the army personal was and one of them was still holding a bottle like he was drinking at home, My uncle was driving the car ,when he put the car on neutral the car shifted a bit at all this point they were looking inside and saw my uncle put the car on neutral, suddenly they started pointing guns right in our face ,they hardly could talk and now they were pointing guns at us ,it was a scary moment ,and the obscene language they use I don’t even want to repeat such disgusting filth of words. Me alone I know I can’t do anything
But if I encountered people who have gone through same dilemma maybe we can put out enough voice to those officials who can do something about it.
To see your family members in such helpless and vulnerable situation is a feeling I hope nobody encounters.

No matter how much I'd like to support the RNA, stories like these keep popping up. Few bad apples are ruining the entire force.
The shift to neutral might have caused a little nudge to the vehicle and hence it is natural for the guards to be alert. But they don't have any right to abuse the other party at gun point, specially when the guards themselves are drunk.
If these complaints are collectively voiced to COAS(the Chief), there might be some improvment over the process.
I feel sorry for what you have to go through, Sambodhan. Now, Stand at Ease.
