Road may be the singlemost source of most of the unnatural deaths
in Nepal. It is so sad to read death,death and more death in auto-
accidents in Nepal.
When Madan Bhandari died(killed?) in a road accident in Gorkha-
Narayanghat road, the consequent political upheaval cost too much
to Nepal. Still, no government, not even the government of UML
that came after doing 'lashko raajniti'(whoever used this term
must be a heck of lexicon-expert), paid any attention in reducing
road mishaps. So, if comrade Madan Bhandari's death didn't
stimulate the lethargy of government, none other naturally could
do so. So, hundreds of other innocent passengers died travelling
in highways.
I think police should be made more alert, speed checking
should be enforced all the way so that drivers couldn't stop at a
bazaar for an hour and then drive at 70 KM/hr, and dipsomaniacs
shouldn't be allowed to drive.The government used to raise 20
rupees per trip(I don't know latest figure), and it can raise
that to Rs 40 if it lacks the source, because nothing is more
important than people's life.

It is very difficult to evaluate the UML leaders. They want to make everybody happy.Everybody from journalists to industrialists.
I know a person, kattar kangressi, who met Jhalanath Khanal last
year in Atlanta, and returned being very impressed from him.
May be UML leaders are very good people even in their heart,who
knows.
When Oli gave 75000 rupees he took from some odious politics-pidit
Udhdhar organization, notwithstanding the askance from other jealous who said the 75000 he took was worth more than 75000 he
returned, we welcomed his generosity and political 'correctness'.
Mahav Nepalji couldn't sit back and see only Oliji getting all
the praise. So, he donated his lands in Kalanki to the party.
UML plans to make a school in the land.(Whether they teach Lenin's
red books,( making it some sort of Communist Madarsaa), or
computer there, we don't know!)
I hope the school will be used for the good cause.One thing is
sure, Maoist Thitaa Haru can't close the school with facility.
UML has more 'jabbar' comrades to protect its interest.
