Bonjour from Geneve everyone,

Believe me, a last few days without access to this board was a real heartbreaker. Finally found this cyber cafe--America on Sale--3 Sfr for 30 mins (never knew america was so cheap to buy).

Anyway, its good to see that this board is in its full swing. Can someone update me on what´s happeninng in nepal and what happened in Rolpa. That will be great.

Will be sharing the Geneve adventure with you all some day, in the mean time, if someone in Geneva is reading this, please send me an email at taryal@claremontmckenna.com so that we can update each other with whats happening in Nepal and the world.

Regards,
Trailokya

Dear Trailokyaji:

Great to hear from you. Hope you are having good time there.

3 Sfr for 30 minutes! That's very expensive surfing, huh. Well,
after all you are in Geneva!

Hope you will have a great time around. And who knows you may
run into some real nice Nepali fellas out there. And other
places you will visit.

Bon voyage.
the real ashu Posted on 26-Jul-01 04:12 AM

Hi Trailokya,

Great to hear that you are in Geneva -- doing well,
and thinking of this Web site

I have heard that PUBLIC Internet aacess is
not all that easy in Europe. Your experience
seems to bear this out.

Have fun in Geneva.

Notwithstanding some fellow-posters who seem envious of
your being in Europe, do share your travel stories
with the rest of us here.

As Gary Hamel, one of the world's leading business
gurus puts in: "Travel robs us off our prejudices."

Trailokya Aryal Posted on 26-Jul-01 08:13 AM

Hi all,

First of all, thanks ashu dai and biswoji for your nice and encouraging words. And to everyone, I love to share my experiences as much as I love to hear you guys experiences of the world. I mean , we all can benifit from those. Plus, having gone to a consortium which values cultural diversity, assimilation, tolerance etc, I love to experiment with different cultures and encourage others to do so because we are not only the citizens of nepal but of the whole world.

aani, to others who are interested in my itenarary: I don,t know where I will end up next, but I will let you know from wherever I end up.

and, also, a BIG YES to that BAHUN KO CHORO IN GENEVE comment. A few more comments like this, please. It only makes me strong, determined and motivated tzo actively share my stoiries with others in this and other public forums. So, please do me a big favor, post more comments like those using 20000 names. I will buy you a pitcher of guiness or a dhau-ba-ji when I meet you. K garney, bahun ko choro right now can only afford that much. Maybe, you being some other group ko chora, can buy me something more expensive:0)

OK, time to explore

Trailokya
sparsha Posted on 26-Jul-01 09:07 AM

Trailokyaji,
Glad to know that you're enjoying in Geneve. I am also surprised and laughed at the comments of some of our fellas.

Anyway, I hope you will post your relevant experiences here in the site for us. With your postings I will also get to read some other posters' comments, I am hoping.

BTW, is it illegal or surprising for a BAHUN KO CHHORA is geneve? How were you treated there in Geneve for being a BAHUN?

Correction: In the previous message I meant Is it illegal or surprising for a BAHUN KO CHHORA to be in Geneve?
Huh?? Posted on 26-Jul-01 09:32 AM

In the name of The father, the Son, and the Holy spirit
I declare the tittle of Ashutosh(Big Ego) part II to TA(TP).
Follow them footstep to the world of frustration & despair just like him. Are you some sort of VVIP of gbnc to post your itenary in this web ??? Y'll are talking as if you're going out ??? Why don't y'll get a room & play buttdart. Since you consider yourself strong, make yourself the board.
And for Mr Ego himself, Make sure you receive an email regarding the itenary. We are not interested. People are not interested ....get it ??? Typical Showing off mentality....
Pathetique Posted on 26-Jul-01 11:27 AM

Looking at the way some of you glorify the GBNC site and spend ALL OF YOUR TIME here, it looks like this site is the center of your lives. Don't you have any friends? Don't you have a life? Do you have an existence outside this online world? It is kind of sad you know. I mean, spending some time on a forum such as this is a lot of fun, but for some of you, this is obviously a lifeline.

Trailokya - no access to this board was a heartbreaker? Oh come on. What will happen to you if this site shuts down for what ever reason? I dread to think of the consequences.

Man, if I was in Europe, I would be out and about enjoying the scenery - not obsessing about what was happening on some online discussion. Sad, sad, sad.
yo bizness Posted on 26-Jul-01 11:43 AM

It's pathetic that you have to criticise anything and everything. Why don't you mind your own business and let others do whatever the hell they want. Don't you have a life? why does what someone posts on a site bother you - who has such a great life than having to obsess about what's happening on some online discussion??
That's sad and pathetic just like your name.
Yana Posted on 26-Jul-01 11:46 AM

Ropali-Why are your comments so mean to a fellow nepali, quite frankly your attitude stinks! if you have nothing nice to say about his travel- don't have to be so mean sprited person.
cheese Posted on 26-Jul-01 12:00 PM

Why do have to meet NiceNepaliguys(biswo) ???
Can't it be anyone else ?? What makes you assume that all Nepal guys are nice ???
Pretty big ego for such a small person Mr TP ??? So what you are in Geneve, there are people going all over the world all the time. You wouldn't see them post their itenary in a community website. Unless you big showoff. Besides who cares....
For someone that wants to experience the world, pretty pathetic that you had to come to this forum to feel at home. Which means that you have no capabilty of making friends.
Please spare us the burden of sharing your boring stories. Email it to your beloved online community.

Himalaya Posted on 26-Jul-01 12:27 PM

Friends, I have just arrived in Paris. I read GBNC and I am missing it during my travel here. Can anyone tell me what is happening in Nepal as during my short stop at this Web cafe, all I want to read is GBNC. I will be updating you where my next stop would be. Trailokya ji, please update me where your next stop is. Perhaps we can meet and split the cost of reading GBNC in the same Web cafe.

what the hell are you doing here ??? Think you're better off than the rest of us ?? aren't you doing the same ???? Look before you leap my fren. Don't be a hypocrite...
Trailokya Aryal Posted on 26-Jul-01 04:52 PM

namaste and bonjour,

NO, it wasn,t my intention to show that I am different than others, come on, its not a crime to go around places and share ones experiences with others.

plus, i am proud of my bahun heritage and everztime someone reminds me of being a bahun unnecessarily, i love that, seriously.

anyway, i don,t intend to discuss personal issues in here. Let,s have some respect for the public space. People who have concerns-comments-questions please email me.
rolpali Posted on 26-Jul-01 05:46 PM

Now you are talking TK BAJAY...

And Yana- Who the hell are you to tell me what I should be or not? I am my own man and like to commetent what I think. By the way what kind of name Yana is? Male, fimale or Both :-)

You are free to comment anyting you want..

>you leap my fren. Don't be a hypocrite...

Yo Azz, i never said anybody is better off doing whatsoever. You were implying that TA was worse off and had no life by having to go to some site even on vacation. So why are you back here? I like this site and when I'm on vacation, i'll check this site if i have access.
Do you think you're better than the rest of the people who come to this site more than once a day? Well think again you just posted twice on the same day. What a hypocrite!! get a friggin life will ya?
GP Posted on 26-Jul-01 11:27 PM

In New York, I had ever used the world's largest
WebCafe with 800 terminals. I paid 1 dollar for
5hours internet access. Its probably the cheapest
in the world too.

(it was just 100m east of NY City Bus Terminal).

I like Hahoo! Do you Hahoo! ?
