My congrats to Najar. I am sure, she will one day make it big in Nepal. She has all the qualities: Politeness, tolerance and appreciation (+ education) , which many of us unsuccessful and successfull people lack. Anwyays, will it be possible to read the article though? Go Najar GO!!! your well-wisher, IF PS: Right now, I am reading an interesting article on your (najar's) graduate school and how it helped train the first group of Chinese women surgeons.

Najar dijyu, moonlighting as a model for fur clothes? :-) Gotta report PETA Michigan branch. Congrats. Dherai dherai. Seems like ordinary among us now are put under pressure by the fellow sajhaites who had put the bar very high already.

Congratulations, Najar didi. Looking forward to the piece! ------ On a side note, I was hesitant to express congrats to Paschim--when he appeared in Himal--and I was equally hesistant to post a congratulatory message in this thread. Both of them are accomplished people. For many of us, it might be a big deal appearing in the magazines or having something published. But, is it that big of a deal for THEM? If it is not, would they, in a way, feel underestimated. Just wondering. May be I am thinking too much.

M.P. good point... Well, this is not the first time, Najar is featured or published on major newspapers. So, it should not a big deal for them, but for the sake of Sajha and Sajhait's pride, it always good to acknowledge her good work in the threads like this.

hey bhagwannn yo Sanji le ke garyaa hola.. ok ok, now speech delivery :P That was indeed very kind of Sanji to post it here. Thank you. But come on people, it was nothing. I will just tell myself whats in there. I have been presenting papers in different regions of the country, focusing on the impact of conflict on women's health through regional assemblies. So the journalist, who happened to moderate a workshop in one the assemblies asked if he could write a paragraph on me for Yeshaswi, a sunday supplement of The Samacharpatra, and i said as long as its not something elaborate and fancy it would be fine. So the page is not just on me. In the context of Intl women's day he talks about its background, and some other personas as well. On me, he has quoted few of lines on women's health facts, although not inclusive ,and what difference i have noticed in women's status returning back home after a few long years. And he mentions whats my most recent academic background. And there is a blow up of the same pic inside. THATS ALL. If any sajhaite posesses The Samacharpatra, i request them to please NOT POST it here. REALLY makes me uncomfortable. Here i am NAJAR and would like to just remain that way. and if somebody really wants to read it, i can scan and send them via e-mail but have to wait few weeks b/c am little tight on time getting ready to leave for Pakistan and the preparation for that.Baru if any sajhaites are there, please let me know. I am protracting my stay upon completion of the meeting, to visit a college friend. --------------------------------------- On another note its been really fulfilling working in Nepal, and getting to know amazing people here. For those who are looking into returning, i highly encourage them to do so. ------------------- Thanks to all for your kind words. Most of you, i have had the pleasure to know in person in varying ways, and you all know better who i am, don't deserve all that fancy praises. Iso, how was your trip to Moscow, and all others? Am really interested to read regarding your trans-siberia trip. Biswo UNCLE i thought we'd sorted out the naatagota, apparently not. But thank you, uncle haru kai aashirbaad ho, and yeah i was indeed modelling for the coat you sent :P Kalankisthan, yeah yeah yeah..... ;) Oys and MP bhai, thank you. But as i mentioned its just a fractional mention nothing extensive. M.P, are you still coming to Nepal in the summer? Rusty, whats up w/ all that good words? Do you need anything from Nepal? and Neural, the sajhaite i probably have known longest since good old school days...your guess is right :) Arnico, Ashu and all others thank you.

>>M.P, are you still coming to Nepal in the summer? Najar didi*, Most probably not. I am actually trying to go to Africa. Let me know if you are planning to come to that area from Pakistan. :) If things do not work out as planned, I will find a little nest in Philadelphia and spend my summer visiting schools there. I am having a hard time trying to find an internship where I can volunteer; I wonder how hard it is to find a paid internship. etails to follow in an email. *Finally, I have one naatagota sorted out at Sajha. And a person who does not mind being called dai/didi.
