As Sally said, GBNC serves as a microcosm of our Nepali society.

More fittingly, it is a microcosm of our decadent society. Where
people have no problem hurling coarse curses, giving preposterous
reasonings to prove their communal points, and misusing the power
of free speech.

For example, what's wrong about Trailokya writing from Geneva and
notifying us where is he now? For those unanimous posters, the
information I want to give is I care about Trailokya eventhough
I don't know him. We people in this web community are not just
nothing. We care about others. By exchanging our thoughts, we
have developed some kind of amity, and we care about each other
eventhough we disagree with each others in several issues. It is
natural that if someone vanishes from this site, we want to
know what's wrong with the person.Rather than thanking Trailokya
for loving this site so much even in his vaccation, unfortunately
some people tried to attack him. It makes me to question their
love of this site. And if they don't love this site, does it mean
they come to this site with wicked purpose?

----------------------------------

There is nothing in name. It is not lack of name that I resent, it
is lack of the content from those people that I resent.

One shouldn't try to sully a website using sham names. It is
a strange coincidence that most of the unanimous posters use
their anonimity to post risque content and to lynch another
real-name poster. It is probably only callow curiousity about
new found freedom. But the more it goes, the more harmful it
will be for those people who wants to have some good, useful
discussions here.

Well, let's forget about this.

Here is this photo I found in Nepalnews.com. About Sher Bahadur
taking oath from the king.

In deed, we missed king Birendra(peace be upon whom) this time
also.

What is the red stuff hanging from his coat? It is also strange
that PM's Dauraa looks longer (or coat shorter) than necessary.

May be I don't know that well about our national dress. Will
somebody please illuminate me about that?

Here is another picture from nepalnews.com again. The photographer
must be thanked for this poor picture.

if it is not politically loaded picture, why is king obscured? I
mean I remember the photos of such occasions used to give the
king equally prominence in the past.

Looks like there are only 8 ministers. Werent' there supposed to
be 12 ministers, in addition to Deuba
(See: http://www.kantipuronline.com/kol_news.html#Deuba cabinet announced)?
