"She bangs she bangs..."...I thought we had lost Ricki Martin, but thank you lord, he's in Berkely and I always knew he'd resurface. Just didn't think it would take Simon the great to bring him out of his hiding. On a serious note: new student, your best resources to finding good living accomodations in Berkely is to use the student resources guides; if you do want to live off of campus and make yourself feel at home then there are plenty of nepali students or singles hanging around Berkley as bholebabaji has pointed out. Contact the northern nepali association of california(website provided courtesy of bholebabaji) and solicit help from them....that organization has numerous helpful contacts. And when you do arrive in Berkley do not forget to try a slice of pizza @ Blondies on Telegraph avenue with extra cheese, and if that doesn't appeal to your palate...University Avenue is laden with indian restaurants...fast food and the likes among other great places to eat...sorry i'm writing this while my stomach growls for some chat hehehe and most of all enjoy your stay in Berkley...you'll meet some of the most remarkable people just loitering around university cafe and congratulations on your admissions. |

Thanks everybody for your kind responses and willingness to help. I had looked at craigslist.org, but had tough time deciding on its merit. realist, I've sent you an email. Hope to communicate with you via email. |
