I am a girl and wanna know every detail about China town and why men go there. Can someone fill me in.
Boston_Dude Posted on 30-Jul-01 12:18 PM

I have passed by chinatown, but haven't really been there with a motive. If I have been around Chinatown....I would let u know about it..but my bad..I haven't been there.Well I could check it out for you.
raje Posted on 30-Jul-01 06:08 PM

It's used to be a red light district, but not anymore.
Some men still like to hang out there to see if they could be a lucky one. ( don't blame me!)
But most of the men and of course women that I Know, love to go there just to try a real good chinese food. A duck roast is pretty popular and a lobster too.
Curious Posted on 31-Jul-01 06:36 AM

Please check it out. I would like to know.

Hi I'm not a regular to this website but just came to check some stuff out and stumbled on your message board about Chinatown.
I wrote a poem once as a joke about a Hare Krishna brahmachari in China Town. Enjoy:

I'm in my Mid-20's and just moved to Boston for work from another State. Drop me a message...tell me what you think of my poem:

Brahmachari on Vacashun

Please come sit, I’ll tell you a little story,

Of a young blonde virile brahmachari.

Searching the purest, most humble of all?

Whose kirtan causes all to roll and to bawl?

Sanskrit slokas at the tip of his mind,

Such macho-ness where would you ever find?

No use looking further, we’ve got you the man.

His highness, unrivaled King of Sankirtan.

Distributed 43 books, oh the stress of the day.

Undoubtedly, this young celibate needed to play.

“Disturb me no further, 10 hours of service done,

Allow me to relax: time for a nice vacation.”

Though heard of decadence in nearby China Town,

Until today, always responded with a frown.

Today, His Majesty, the Sankirtan King,

Sought to bless one daughter of Dynasty Ming.

Zipped through the door, ducked to the right,

Reached ‘peep shows,’ managed to stay out of sight.

Furtively glanced around, so as not to get caught.

Set to enjoy, since no Gita lesson to be taught.

Slowly took out 20 dollars and a few coins more,

Rubbed hands in anticipation for what was in store.

Shutters went up and a lanky lady came out.

Saw the meagerness of money and offered a pout.

His face felt pale watching another 20 dollars go in.

Mental contract was written, he had commited to sin.

She took her sweet time putting sticky on her lips.

Four dollars gone without even a swing of her hips.

She looked him first up and then all the way down,

And slowly adjusted the heavy weights in her gown.

He licked his lips, his hands on the pane.

If she didn’t move faster, he was going insane!

“Oh do reveal more, show me your stuff,

Throw a little slack, stop being so tough!”

She hesitated to let her dark secret leak,

But slowly urged herself to honestly speak:

“You’re not going to faint or get light hearted, right?

Not going to scream when I show you my sight?

Know that mine is very much like your own,

But I understand that you maybe feeling alone.

“Oh bald headed one in cute orange skirt,

We’re both not girls but we want to convert.

Aren’t you a man who likes wearing dress?

Dressed female, seeks the masculine caress?

“Please, now don’t pretend like you didn’t know,

That originally, I was not born a female doe.”

She blew him a kiss and offered a wink.

Started rolling stockings of laces so pink.

Meanwhile, his eyes had just begun their peering,

Took few seconds to register what he was hearing.

“Hang on, sit tight!” he stumbled to the door.

“You mean you’re a guy!?” tears started to pour.

“How dare you call me male, a regular ‘guy’?

Dare say that again, you shall surely fry.”

Pushed up her bra, to shed light to her assets,

Ended up revealing confused personality’s facets.

Totally humiliated he covered his face.

“How was I cheated?” his mind began to race.

"Oh Lord you pulled the wool over my eyes.

Smashed my pride through self-effacing lies.

“Thank you Sri Krsna, you showed me my folly,

Thought she was Barbie, but Ken was the dolly.

My heart was choked by the vile pus of lust,”

Saying these words, brahmachari silently cussed.

Hearing holy man speak, the lady was amused,

Tickled at the tummy, her humor was fused.

“Oh spiritual priest, what was your idea of fun?

Want me to disrobe, pretending to be a nun?

“Oh you bald headed fella, you sexy little monk.

Tuft of hair was larger, you’d look like a hunk.

If known earlier that you weren’t the average ‘Joe’,

I’d volunteered my special tax deductible show!”

“My dear Madam, or Sir, whatever you are,

Just keep your bloody distance, stay very far!”

His stomach felt weak; he backed out of the room.

Head slumped forward feeling the weight of doom.

In his hurry to get out, he again missed the sign,

Where in bold letters of black was written a line:

“Enter to see, our very own transvestite,

You’ll see a lot between her 6 foot height!”

After this incident, the brahmacari was cured.

To that store in China town never was lured.

Heard that these days he’s doing rather well,

Careful to not let his head get too swell.

okay i'll give it a shot...
i've been there a couple of times and have really had some good times there too.although small in comparision to the one in n.y. the one here in boston isn't that bad.
to answer your question---most people( predominantly asian kids) go there to drink( chau chows---serves beer even after the 2 o'clock deadline---actually puts them in kettles and serves them and no i.d. required!!!). There's also another reason--yeah the strip joints. nice girls in there but expensive---i mean for the beer and the tipping, not what you were thinking. anyways, i've been there and the beer costs $10 a pop, so just go figure---not a good habit.
hope i have shed some light on the subject.

curious Posted on 11-Aug-01 06:22 AM

How expensive are the girls in the strip joint.
curious Posted on 11-Aug-01 06:27 AM

To Raje

It was a Red Light area before as you said. How much do the girls cost and do you know any Quincy College student last year and in 1999 who used to go there.
What kind of students do you get there particularly Asian or white as well. IS there a way to investigate about a person who has been there and had sex with prostitutes.
tt Posted on 12-Aug-01 04:35 PM

i think u got me wrong there... the girls in the strip joint are only for viewing purposes---u cannot touch them---although everyone wants too---they have figures to kill for.

sorry curious,
File is under G-14 classified; it's strictly prohibited from the public-disclosure.
curious Posted on 13-Aug-01 06:20 PM

Come On Raje

You can atleast tell me some how. I really need to know as I have to make some decision about my life based on the facts about what someone has been doing there. Please Please Please help!!
raje Posted on 14-Aug-01 10:26 AM

curious,
if you're in boston, why don't you go by yourself one night/day, and see how chinatown looks like??
if you're a girl, bring some friends w/ you.
curious Posted on 14-Aug-01 08:57 PM

Excuse me Raje

If I would have been there then I probably would not have adverstised this on the GBNC website you see!!! Can you please help me to find out about one person. I just need to know about his character!
raje Posted on 15-Aug-01 12:42 PM

curious,
don't get me wrong, but how am i supposed to know the person, that you're talking about..
besides, what if that person turns out to be my best friend..
c'mon you gotta find it yourself...
sorry, i don't wanna be involved in this crap!! i've been thru. and i know what it feels like if someone reveals my secret...
but i do have a couple of suggestions to you...as you seems a nice girl..
if he goes more than twice a week to chinatown..yes, he might be after a big lobster...but once a week..nothing to be worried..
if I were you, i invite him for a dinner whenever i find out he's heading out to chinatown..and make him the food/ or whatever he's after...at my own apartment so he won't think about china and chinese again...
simple, is n't it??
Curious Posted on 15-Aug-01 04:58 PM

I cannot do all that you have suggested because i am thousands miles away from him, ie NZ where the world cyclist has visited. Fund raising for world cyclist was also my idea. I have been away form this man for last 5 years. What should I do. I cannot trust him blindly. Can you please help me privately. I just need to know some facts and then I would be happy to not bother ou anymore. If you cannot help then just say no instead of making tight excuses.
Chin Chin Posted on 15-Aug-01 06:32 PM

Hey Curious : Why not ask Mr.Quincy directly about his adventures in Chinatown? If you do not trust what he says and you need to send out spies to spy on him, then maybe you need to ask yourself if you really want this man in your life.
Curious Posted on 15-Aug-01 06:44 PM

How do I get a spy???
raje Posted on 16-Aug-01 08:23 AM

sorry, curious. I can't help you.
