Army totally denied the killing of Maoists after they were arrested in Doramba. They claim innocence over the raping of young girls in Chisapani Karnali. After the Doramba investigation, the army threatened human rights activists. But we are not alone. There was strong international support, which is the reason why the army eventually admitted their mistake. But frankly speaking, not even ten percent of their mistakes have been exposed publicly.

ummmm i hate to say , but usually when it comes to army, you don't do anything.. they'll do things for you/to you.. :(

As far as Nepali army goes, i think they're way diciplined than other armies in the world when it comes to being active in civil war( i call this situation a civil war, come on thousands of ppl can't be terrorists). It will be nice , if they take action with those sholders who did bad things, but...
well, blame maosts, those currupted netas and nepali janta for this situation- not army...poor army personannels are getting killed like bheda bakhara.. for little money ..
some of those jawans are so poor that they only joined army to eat "bhat".. i soul cryied when last summer i heard some of thier stories and maoist brutality to thier family members...
Poor Nepai army/police nepal get any credits , even though they are risking thier life like crazy, and for who? for ppl like me and you who live in a cozy aprtment/cafe house in a foreign land and be observer, when those poor guys have to take the real heat.....

REspecting the dead and all alive -brave RNA and Police,

yeah, i agree that the Army is puttin their life on the line. And the nepali police don't get any credits because 99% of them are "bhrastachars" The army are just following orders and they have to. But i fell sad that Nepal don't even have air force. while india the neighbor is presenting itself to the world as one of the powerful countries in the planet. I was planning to go to nepal around July and my friends back there are saying that Nepal Bandh is more often and her words was like "yaha ta nepal banda badi hunch kholnu bhanda" and its surprising to me.
