They should have different NBA championships for the west and the east coz' they just don't compare. For the last 4/5 years we've had breathtaking Western conference championships only to be followed boring (yaaaaaaaaawn) finals.
The Nets should be banned from the NBA for 5 years for boring us so much. At least they should be punished by being sent to the western conference where they'll get their azzez kicked.
In the east, pathetic teams like the celtics (34-40) can make it to the playoffs while in the west, denver (39-37) is out of the top eight.
If we select the teams with the 16 best records, there would be only 5 teams from the east and 11 from the west. Maybe then it would be fun! Wouldn't that be fair?

They didn't say those things when MIChael Jordan and the bULLs were running the clocks for ....HOW maNY years??
ANd as of Boston...... The 70s and 80s belonged to whom???? Who had won the most numerous NBA championship? Do you have any idea??? But none talked shit when The BOston Garden was on fire in those seasons.
Do you even know Indian has the best record in the whole of NBA? They have beaten the Western Conference Asses as badly as anyone else in the league. Be they be an Eastern Conf. team or an Western Conference team?
It is just that the pendulum is tilted towards the west for some seasons.

hmmmm let's seee it's down to the wire. They are both awesome and had proven themselves in a matter of a season.

I about the titles, I know is Larry won 3 title during 80s. Proud bro, how many titles they won on 70s? was that meant to be Rusell's era, if so that would be 60s. he won 11 rings during his 13 year career.

aight lemme say sumthin.... Nets they aint gonna be in finals and thats final period... no more lakers coming up instead kings they gonna bounce in and gonna go to the finals....i donooo bout le browns team"next michael jordan"...tracys team aint gonna win... pacers they gonna come too..spurs they still standing ....yo yo tony parker he gonna do some crazy stuff too.. but coby since the rape case he been degrading day by day... and shaq even though he tall he aint good he aint got free throws no dribble tooo fat but can't deny hes got the hoops only stays under the rim...cheater..lol...neways thas wt i think ohhh marvericks they good too...carmello hmmm i donoo man...peace yoo too much to think bout.:)

Senor,
Just imagine that you don't have NBA finals. Consider Western Conference Final as the Final.
But tell you what, don't be surprised if there is an upset in NBA finals by the Easter Conference team (Pacers/ Pistons).
You say East is boring. That goes against David Stern's vision. Teams in Eastern Conference are not as good as West, but they have as flashier stars as the West has. Carter, LeBron James, Kidd, Marbury, Iverson, T-mac all belong to East, compared to Kobe, Shaq, KG, Yao(?) in the west.
Nets are boring? They are one of the fastest team in NBA.
