Yeah brother.. I guess this being the NY TIMES best movies, they ignored the commerically successful ones such as the ones you noted, instead they included some critically acclaimed movies that did pretty bad at the box office.. still I wonder.. what's so great about Chicken Run? Beats me... maybe the NY Times people have a different taste when it comes to good movies.
