A Week of Art, Music and Drama

April 9
Inauguration of an exhibition of paintings done during the ‘Genius at Work’ retreat.
Khagendra Sangraula (writer) and Sanjeev Uprety (critic) will express their thoughts on the art camp and related subjects during the inauguration.

Time: 5 PM

April 10
Healing Through Colours, Clay and Sound A healing experience among the energy of colors, nature harmonized through the meditative sound of the didgeridoo evoked by Kanika. Professional artists introduce you the joys of playing with colors and clays and converting them into art form.

Time: 1:00 – 5:00 PM (4-hours)

Collective didgeridoo healing sessions in between
Rs 1500 for Non-Nepalis; Rs 500 for Nepalis
With Tea and Snacks

April 11
Art Workshop for Students Six students from Lalit Kala Campus and two each from Kathmandu University and Sirjana Art College will be given free art workshop.

Time: 11 AM - 2 PM

Pottery Making Workshop Nepal’s most known pottery artist/sculptor Gopal Kala Premi will conduct almost a nine-hour long pottery making workshop (basic clay modeling, beating pottery, throwing pottery, firing and finishing the product).

Time: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Modelling, Beating, Throwing)
4:30-7:30 PM (Firing pottery in charming evening light)

Registration:
Rs 500/- Students with id-card get 50% discount.

April 14
Performance by Salil Kanika A performance of new-form drama and music.

Time - 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Free Entry. Contributions accepted.

April 15
Musical Evening An evening of classical and fusion music performance.

- Rabin Das Shrestha & Nabin Shrestha (Classical Tabla/Vocals)
Time: 5:00 PM onwards; Free Entry. Contributions accepted.
