So I went to work this morning thinking it was 7:30am. I usually get in around 7am and am among the first few to get in. But I thought it was a little strange that half the people in my group had already come in today. My bright-eyed colleagues said "You all right?" "Did you oversleep?" I had no clue what they were talking about; as far as I knew, I was only half an hour late than usual. Then I turned my head to the clock on the wall - it was 8:30am and I had forgotten to move my watch forward! Of course, I became the clown of the day. My boss came down a while later saying "I hear you forgot to switch to day-light saving." I laughed it off, but was amused at how I managed to live for two days without realizing my watch was an hour behind the rest of the world.

I even went to a baseball game on Sunday. I was supposed to meet up with a few friends at the stadium. When I got there, they told me, "TitoMitho, you're late." I blamed the rain and the crowded parking lot. It was raining and the game was going to start late anyway. Later in the evening, after surfing the internet for a few hours, I looked at the clock at the bottom right corner of the monitor and told myself it was time to hit the bed. I was pleasantly surprised that when I went to my bed it wasn't as late as I thought, so I stayed up a little more reading magazines.

And when I woke up, the sun was shining through the window and I could see the blue sky and the blooming cherry blossoms outside. What a wonderful day, I told myself, after a cold and gloomy weekend. All excited about the day ahead, I headed to work, not knowing what lay ahead of me.

It's good to make a fool of yourself sometimes!
