ood way to go chelsea. u've done it. u've finally thumped arsenal. REal failed to glow with its mesmerizing performances after being disgracefully eliminated by the under dogs monaco. chelsea revealed their real character by giving gunners a real blow on their face. chelsea and ac milan the potential finalists.
My money is on chelsea. Chelsea's confidence will further be boosted by the return of their wizard seba veron. Good luck. two more hurdles and that's it. A history will be made and roman abramahovich will have justified his big spending spree.

Chelsea had the last laugh. gunners we bid u farewell from the champions league don't worry there's always next time and u'll have to work a lot in your bid to win the premiere league. Premiere league is not over yet.

It was enjoyable to watch Chelsea knock out Arsenal from Champions League! They played with somewhat extra determintation and zeal giving a great second half performance, im sure Arsenal didnt know what hit them! Funny to see Arsenals arrogance shattered as was their 5 year undefeated record with Chelsea. Boo hoo.. No wonder the Blues were celebrating as if they had won the Champions League! Now the gunners have bigger wounds to lick after the weekend FA Cup defeat by Reds Man United and also the possibility they will end the season without a trophy! Phew..heartbroken gunners.

I was quite surprised at mighty Reals exit out the Champions League but in anycase whats done is done so now im lookin forwards towards the semis Monaco V Chelsea . I hear Chelsea's chances of beating Monaco are 80-20 in favour of Chelsea! Come on u blues..

And yeah im very much into soccer too and follow it religeously, im hoping to see Man U lifting the FA cup trophy! Wohoo!

Chat on Tuesday, when we see the Blues defeating Monaco (fingers crossed)

being a gooner, i was in tears last night and saturday after our two consecutive defeats, fair play to chelsea they did well, but there really wasn't much in it between the two and the gunners had sooo many opportunites on goal, definitely more than chelsea, but we just couldn't turn those opps into goals. it is really sad that the treble could now only be the single, and with injury worries to reyes, ljungberg and king henry, the title race is dangerous but i think it will be ours. but i don't understand how dom has faith in veron?!? whats that all about!! bridge, lampard, duff, and gudjonssen have more to offer than seb.
what gives me more displeasure is people gloating that arsenal lost...yes we had high hopes but we were never an arrogant team. arsense wenger always spoke practically as did our players, u never saw them in the paper bragging or putting others down, in fact they are always very humble, so all this shit that they deserved losing is ridiculous. like ranieri, wenger always carried himself off professionally and was never like ferguson, putting teams and managers down!! i think its worth remember that when rubbing ur hands with glee at our defeat. and the team spirit in arsenal is un-matched, the comaraderie and friendship in that team is admirable. so go easy on them...on us gooners cos the following week is just as hard domestically with liverpool and newcastle.

on the champions league note, i dont think chelsea are organised enuff to win this year, maybe in the future but its too early. i place my bets on AC milan this year too, tho it would be nice to see an english team life the cup after so long.

To all my fellow gooners, keep ur heads up...have faith in the boys, we have too much quality to let our lead slip...keep singing and i'll see u at the clock end soon.
AR-SE-NAL..wooooh...AR-SE-NAL

hey at last some soccer stuffs going on in sajha *cheers* ;)....

Missed that match between Arsenal vs Chelsea :S (had waited for it for hrs..but an hr before the match....lack of sleep took its toll...:S)

Reading about it..seems like i missed a good match...cant believe Arsenal lost..(had placed some bets on it.. too :'( *gonna follow mum's advice not to gamble* :P) more shocking was seeing the news that Real got knocked out too, was hoping to see some great football being played when these two footballing giants fought it out in the semis..well Chelsea vs Monaco in the semis do seem to offer some exciting and unpredictable result (hoping chealsea goes all the way meeting AC in the final)

Domi---Chelsea's chances of beating Monaco are 80-20 in favour of Chelsea!? :| where did u hear that...championship football is really unpredictable..no team can be underestimated yest quaterfinals showed :|) i wouldnt mind putting a dollar on MOnaco to go to the final if someone offered me such good odds ;)..

anyways my predictions for todays quarter-finals which is in another 10mins (and im not onna fall asleep this time..:P

Deportivo 2-1 AC Milan
LyonFC 0-0 Porto

anyways Arsenal vs Liverpool in 2 days thats the match im looking forward to.

Reds to make it Strike 3??Hat trick of loses for Gunners..WOOHOOO!!!!
Reds!! ALL the way!!!...(all i got is hope..full of hope)

Reds fan :D

Oh ' stilontheshelf' a bit of a correction, it was actually 'seba' who said Veron was gona be the main wizard to boost things for Chelsea!

Well it is just natural to gloat over others defeats, thats why we got competition and passion for the team that we avidly support ke. I know Arsenal are a great team full of class players. who can criticise Theirry huh? Did u see the clean shot he homed in the net against Man Utd in the first instance.

Actually it was your man himself Sven who said Chelsea's chances of beating Monaco are 80-20 in favour of Chelsea! Yeh i agree in this type of championship games no one can put those kind of odds, u got the best team being defeated or vice verca. it certainly is unpredictable as it comes.

Surely Arsenal will whooop the scousers asses, its just not Liverpools season this year is it bichara. 2:1 is my guess.

What about the shock 4:0 victory?? AC Milan crashing out just as Arsenal has?

Who u guys supporting Deportivo or Porto? Im thinkin Deportivo!

Lets all root for Chelsea, an english side winning the Cup will be fantastic!

C ya later!

I still believe that Thierry Henry's pace is exquisite, his sometimes finishing is amazing too, but there is no better player then the miraculous Dutchman Denis Bergkamp. Yes, he is old, but his finishing touch is still classy. That finishing let Arsenal down and Arsene Wenger knows it. His arrogance has touched his head and he believes that Henry and Reyes can take the place of Bergkamp, football pundits are laughing at him. His players are too physical and foul plays are enumerous. Henry is too selfish and too overrated. Van the man is much better then Henry and his selfishness. He is the best striker on the planet right now and Henry comes no where near to what Bergkamp can do. It is sad Wenger doesn't realize it.

The blues are in great form and will claim the premiership title right from the throat of Arsenal and Wenger will keep watching realizing what went wrong?? Striker!! Mr. Wenger, Striker!!!!

good to see some enthusiasm about soccer here in sajha!
yeah....the money abramovich invested in chelsea paid off(though it would be pleasant to see them hold the coveted champions trophy by overcoming monaco at first and then beating either porto or deportivo at the finals)......i have my money on the blues
the fate of real madrid was kind of inevitable...they have concentrated more on the offence and completely neglected the defence.....it is often said that attack is the best form of defence but then when u are playing against good teams, u ought to have a solid defence.
but then this doesn't hold true for milan...they have probably the best defenders in the world in the form of maldini and nesta....but i guess, it wasn't their day.
i have always been into the english premier league...so i am cheering for Chelsea.

and guys, i am relatively new at sajha.com....would like to see posts like these in the days to come.

Peace

too bad arsenal lost.. but Chelsea deserved to go thru to the semis and hopefully win the Championship Leauge. Mind u, i don't support em. their manager Cluadio Ranieri has been going thru an enormous amount of pressure. what the papers say about him and when u c him on the interview, u can't help but feel sympathy for this very likeable character. and anyways, it;s high time there was a change in dominance in the Champs Leauge. It;s alwasy been Real and Man Utd with talks of Arsenal rompin their way to victory in the champs leauge. how twisted the story turned out to be.. as they say, the BALL is ROUND...

Real... well they deserved to be knocked out. i mean even at home, they concede 2 goals but still go on to bang in 4. credit to them, they have one of the most potent midfields and strikers in the world. but judgin from the way their defence leaks in goals, i can only say that they suck big time in that dept. they should have a major reshuflle at the back if they are to improve. but all credit to Monaco, for beating one of the best team in the world.

As for AC Milan. well what can i say abt them? takes a 4-1 lead and loses 4-0 away. Lose? hell yeah.. BUT NOT 4-0.. damn it.. one of the biggest disappointment in the CL. supposedly one of the best defences, but.. well... what can i say, the score speaks for itself.

for Porto and Monaco, i wuldn mind any1 of em being the CL champions. Supporting the underdogs is always fun don't u guys think so? But for now, me is gonna support Chelsea, juz as a reward to their manager. I have seen him in the news ever so often and he seems to be growing older by the day, what with all the stress and presuure he;s going thru, and i juz can't help but feel sorry for him... :P. and anyways, me suppports a club which wa once HUGE and coming back to the big times real soon... EVERTON... so it makes sense supporting a fellow blue don;t it?? hehehehe... Cheers!!
