Looking at the picture of Sarthi's poster on Sajha's home page, the people standing there all look like midgets. Are they actually dwarfs or is it just a camera trick? Forgive me, but I know not much about Kollywood.

They are Midgets, as Mr. Tilkumari said. Saarathi = Saha + Rathi (one who is a companion in a chariot) meaning = Driver (technically of a chariot/Rath)

well here it goes rathi word is derived from rath or chariot it means one who rides on a rath but it also means a warrior coincidently warriors ride on rath or chariots. and sarathi is one who is with a rathi helper kinda and in ancient times chariot drivers were not just drivers but helpers to the rathi or warrior. and evident by krishna being sarathi of arjun so sarathi is used for a one who steers a rathi literally drives his chariot as said earlier rathi also means warrior and maharathi is used focusing on the word warrior so it means a great warrior damn QED i really knew that??? makes me wonder

As in Bollywood and Kollywood movies, would the midgets be singing songs and circling around the treets in Godavari? Man, I thought the midget in Austin power was enough. But, here comes a whole bunch of them. And Nepalis too. Hey, I give them a big hand for introducing these folks. They have to make a living too and what better place to make them famous than in Nepal? It shows our people in Nepal are diverse. We are EQUAL EMPLOYEMENT OPPORTUNITY GIVERS?

Ush Ush Ush Mr. Tilkumari le thyammai pakdyo. Coming to think of it, it might be wrong. As Sarathi is not a new Nepali word formed from 'Samaas and Bigraha.'
