Beijing looks great these days. The weather is nice. This week, we finally put our jackets back in the closet!
K garney dai, the key got lost on my way back from Sanlintun- actually not very far from GongRenTiYuChang (worker's stadium) and the Outback Steakhouse and Cheng Shi Bing Guan (City Hotel). This should remind you of the Beijing days.
The no. is still there. You are more than welcome to use it when you are here next. Should be fun:-) (or we'll both have fun learning Chinese and teaching English).

Yes, those memories are still fresh. I can only imagine how nice the city must be in the spring. Hopefully I can make it back to China next year for another of those reproductive conferences in Chengdu. I am sure we will have ample time to explore more of the Oriental mystique...or is it mistress?

5.20pm...just came back from soccer match..our reserve won 1-0..but 1st team got thrashed 8-1 :'(....anyways its the 1st game of the season...still a long way to go..and we got a totally new team..so in time we should be playing a lot better...if we get thrashed..this coming week...not gonna...report it anymore..:P..

..meera in my university you can salvage files from the network drive, if you have ever saved it and deleted afterward. talked to the IT dept of your college.. if you guys have novell server-go there , click on your network drive and highlight it, right click on it and cick on salvage files, you'll see all those files that you have accidently deleted.. if it's not novell server then talk to your IT support representative.. go meera go...

been up since 5 this morning... can you believe we have classes as early as 6:30 in the morning... its amazing to see how many people commute that early... the trams and buses are always so full!! then, they're all in the pub in the evenings, drinking pilsner or gambrinus or whatever it is they drink, and then they're commuting again really early the next day !!
you know whats NOT nice?? having to share a tram with tramps. eughh.... they stink SO bad... besides, in winter, the trams serve as both home and portable heater for them.
prague is full of psychiatric patients... dont believe me?? come take a look.

If there is anything that moves slower than Janakpur ko train, then it's my paper. That much I can say with certainty.

I "decentralized" the paper into 5 sub-topics, "privatized" specific sub-topic to specific days (e.g. Dutch Disease for Monday), tried to "stabilize" myself by not surfing the net too much and not eating too much fat, even tried to minimize "speculation" and "inflation" low by disconnecting the phone line and turning off the phone respectively.
Despite all my efforts, my brain went into a "recession" at 1 am and the "central bank"--my heart--feels more writing a poem than trying to improve the "market"--my paper.

To all those nocturnals and all-nighters here, all I can say is: Hey, at least you got the freedom to stay awake!

11:46AM....jeez....how long can this day get.
Been up since 5 am and still not awake...smoke almost a pack of cigs, drank about 2 pots of the nastiest coffee...i don't care if its starbucks coffee and its free, damm bitter coffee, I have to add two tbl spoons of dry powder just to make myself drink it. Damn that Sanka tastes better.

I accomplished a GREAT talk. For once I went to bed later than Dyamn Bahadur, dyamne Mora you reading this, yes yes yes, I actually went to bed later than you.

I Don't have vanilla coke, i hate it, i have a can of classic, sitting right next to me and i can hear the bubbles popping. Still studyin, and coming to sajha once in a while to check whats goin on. Its sunny here. But no empire building or chrysler building on sight. coz im not in NY :(. There is a huge ass building infront of me. Im lookin out the window and i can see Harris teeter, a grocery store to my right, and a church to my left. Its 3.48 pm. My eyes are getting watery and im about to fall asleeep. gotta study though.

its 4:06 pm, I dont need to get to work today because guess what I GOT FIRED YESTERDAY. My boss (dhot, i work in indian restaurant) asked me to mix the tandoori chicken and i raised my voice. He started bulshitting me about talkin gin tamiiz. So i got back at him with every curse word in the book, i think the customers heard it too. ANyways why am i saying this stuff to you guys anyways. Dan, u know me so well so soon, am i bein watched by u..?(lookin round room for cameras and bugs...) Yeh I was the whip masterette teaching Van Helsing how to weild that bad boy of mine, he caught on quite quickly as i am a superb teacher and weilder.. make sure after u watch the film, u keep ur eyes open in the final credits for my name..it's there in black and white.. im now opening to teach anyone interested in learning the skills of whipping on a one and one personal tuition basis, very costly but worth every dyamn penny/dime..i asure u.. ;o)

1:37 pm.... bananananananah!!! i would love to say i stayed up that long studying... but... sadly.... no!!! me and my friends had one of those all nighters (came complete with a picnic on my carpet)... before we knew it, it was 5 and i had a class at 6..ewww.. patient care.. came complete with learning how to insert catheters!!!

goddamn, 1.01pm. Almost puller all nighter last night. was up till 4.30 am, and exam at 10.30. hit the sack at 4.30, woke up at 6.00, went to sleep and woke up at 10.15 :-O, 15 mins to exam and drive + reaching class takes 30 mins. GODDAMN, never sped like that before and never got that scared of getting pulled over. DIDN'T get pulled over by cop and did okay in exam. btw, HIGHEST SPEED REACHED BY MY GHETTO CAR, 105 MPH. car was shakin, i thought i was gonna die. I swear i would never do that again!

Well, u know i rejected the invitation to the premiere of Van Helsing coz at heart, im a simple gurl *tho fierce and violent) so these big buzz celebrity packed glamorous affairs just aint my cup of tea (british phrase for - aint interestd in it!;o) im too famous as it is with dyamn papparazzi on my ass everytime i step outside, and climbing over the wall into my back garden! ;o)
