What do you guys think of Nepathy's Bhedako Oon Jasto? It is very different from their previous albums. Their five folk songs are collected form various parts of Nepal, from Dolpa to Taplejung. Nepathya's songs are also very reflective of the current situation in Nepal. I like their "aija nidari" and "rangin chara" a lot. There are total of 11 songs and they all are very good. I strongly recommend Bhedako Oon Jasto to everyone. Would love ot hear from those who have listned to the new CD. Please post your thoughts. Jhapali |

It was previously sang by Bipesh Kishor Bhattarai. Nepathya sang the same song with different style and released it in their new album, which is also named "Bheda Ko Oon Jasto...". I have heard that the album is excellent. |

As utopian mentioned above, the song is also sung by Nepathya. And yes, the lyrics are very different. Bhattarai's song is bit longer than Nepathya's. Baljoshiji, thank you for the link above. I encourage everyone to visit the above website. You can listen to all the songs that are on the CD. You can also watch a short video. Has lots of information regarding the band and their new album. You can also purchase the CD at dhukuti.com Jhapali |

I havent had a chance to listen to Dipesh kishor Bhattarai's version ( which came before Nepathya's , as I gather) of Bhedako Oon Jasto, but I am pretty sure that he has done a good job with it ( judging from his other songs ). I did listen to Nepathya's version of the song and found it pretty exotic. Other songs on the album are eqaully appealing; a bold blend of folk and rock , Nepathya's music certainly conceives a new genre in Nepali music. Viswas. |

Hi Poi, this is the first time thamel.com has featured an album. We at thamel.com do not make any $ on the sale of this album. We are closely working with the band to help their songs get the attention they deserve. The sale from the CDs go to the band members and the agents in Nepal. With the permission from Nepalya, the band's management team, I am putting a link to a song that is truly phenominal. The prelude of the song is very very inspiring. here is one for entertainment and to spread around.. http://www.voiceofnepal.com/audio/Others/08_RANGI.ram if this link does not work we are featuring the song for next few days from our front page. There is a possibility they might be doing US tour. this is one band I will fly to see. Enjoy! |

Hey Shefali_Ko_Poi, don't be so proud by giving free mp3 to others by killing Nepali fellow brothers and their intelectual property. It's same crime as you stole something from Target. We all need to respect each others talent, intelectual property. Our fellow Nepali artists, music industry investors, music retailers are the only industry today growing fast, independently with our own Nepali resources. Please be supportive to our nepali industry. I would also suggest you not to attack somebody by saying agent of just he or she likes someones service and they just recommend you. Hercules. |

Wow that's a really beautiful song.. Thanks Bal.. Its got that really raw folk touch to it which gives it that very authentic feel.. Kudos to these folks.. On the recording and the technical aspects there is definetly much to be desired though.. The arrangement is not really up the to the mark I'd say.. Why are the keys so high?? The production still does not look/sound SLICK.. But it could be also be aruged that , this very aspect adds to the raw touch.. -tman.. |
