Ok soccer fans.. those Premiership ones anyway. Who'd yah think will win this year's Young Players' Player of the Year??
Nominees are:
Kolo Toure (Arsenal)
Scott Parker (Chelsea)
Glenn Johnson (Chelsea)
John Terry (Chelsea)
Wayne Rooney (Everton)
Shaun Wright Philips (Man City)
And the PFA Players' Player of the Year
Nominees:
Patrick Vieira (Arsenal)
Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
Jay-Jay Okocha (Bolton)
Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Alan Shearer (Newcastle)
Me thinks John Terry will get the Young Players Award although me would love Wayne to get it.. think Terry has been outstanding for the Blues this season and one of the most consitent performers on the pitch. as for Wayne.. he's only getting better. and anyway.. wouldn't wan him ot win too many Young Players' Award. Only 18... he probably can still qualify for this award for the next 2-4 years.. :P
Thierry Henry for the PFA Players' Award.. no questions asked.. should know why. fabulous goals, sublime skills and the right attitude.. what else would yah ask for in a great soccer player?? he'll probably win this by a mile.. and if anyone else wins it.. they should shoot emselves in the head...
Chelsea players leads the pack in the naward ominations; a total of 4. followed by Arsenal with 3. but none for the Red Devils.. not evern RUUD's ard.. does this mean the end of the reign of Man Utd's hold on the Premiership...?? ur views guys.. :P

my choice....i guess is the same as yours....:D tried really hard to make a diff choice than yours..but hehe...cant..:S
Young player- John Terry (damn i had forgotten he was that young always seem to forget when watching them play..:|..)
He has been really consistent this whole season...and the foundation of a team is the defence...Chelsea has really done well this season..although its a team of all-stars...we have to give credit to the defence..and Terry has been a rock there the whole season..:D..if theres any surprise i would expect Toure to win it...that guy..he has been a revelation this season...seems like he can play anywhere...:|.who knows he may try it out as a keeper next season..:P
and player of season..Same old Henry...yap too many spectacular goals..etc...but if there is to be an upset..Gerrard would be the one..:D:D:D:D...
if there is any conspiracy..then Lampard will win it ;) hehe...
still amazed how a player like Rudd can be omitted..i mean..yap Lampard has been really consistent and scored some crucial goals...but hasnt Rudd?? he is carry the whole Man Utd on his shoulders...if he doesnt play..Man Utd just looks too ordinary...
and the devils reign is coming to an end...the time had to come..:D..(hope so the time has come..and is now..:D...cos everytime i thought they were declining..they have proved me..and a lot others wrong..:S)..but looking at the team now..it looks so ordinary..cant see the hunger in them like the old Utd..and definetly not playing like the old Utd...guess everyone has caught up..:D...

STAY AWAY from MOYES....!!!!!! anyway.. all EFC player who have gone there have been flops.. so i dun think u'd risk an EFC manager huh?? maybe he'd bring u guys down by getting them relegated and then he'llcome back to EFC and take em all the way to Europe.. hmmm.. never know... Once a blue always a Blue.. except for some exceptions.. :P

i think terry will get the young playas award, but i would love to see young kolo take it cos he has had an amazing season for arsenal. wenger has imporved him leaps and bounds, he's just as crucial now to an arsenal back four as campbell in my eyes. how did rooney get in there, man he's either been injured or suspended, or very quiet for most of the season. he had a good one last seson but he aint been as bright this season...plus he needs to lose a bit of weight. im sure his personal life must have had something to do with his performance, apparently his girl and mum traded blows at her b'day!!! how old is terry, man he looks old.
and if thierry doesnt get the award esp after his performance tonight (4 goals!!!) then well i'll eat my vavavoom football shirt.
true think Ruud should be in it too, seeing as shearer is too...not much between the two.
Houllier is most def out...it wouldn't make sense to keep him.
So whos being relegated...wolves....leeds....pompeii???

stillontheshelf... Wayne's ain't been as bright this season?? i dun think so.. he's been scoring more goals in the premier leauge than last season and would definitely make an impact in Euro 2004 judging by his international performances this season. and tehre were no blows traded between his mum and gf.. this stupid media blew it outta proportion. but i agree with yah that he should lose some weight.. or else he could end up like gazza.. fat, skilllful.. but wasted... :P
But as i said.. Terry should win... but he dun't look that young though. proably faked his age huh?? or maybe he's Tony Adams in disguise.. or... or.. ?? hmm can't seem to think of much.. juz except that he;s been Chelsea's main man this season. unlike the other expensive signings like Crespo and Mutu. they dun rally seem to be setting the Premier Leauge alight. waste of money.. shold have juz given D.Moyes the money. he'd make better use outta it...
and relegation candidates..
WOlves... definitley going down...
Leicester... most prob...
Leeds.. hate to sem em go down, but they shoould be the 3rd club to go down
Man City.. well if they dun buck up soon, they'll be another West Ham.. full of talents.. but all wasted...
Portsmouth... juz seems to be getting better. they juz beat man utd 1-0... results fail to amaze me.. :P
Blackburn should be safe by now.. they juz condemned Leicester to Div 1.. witha 1-0 result...
