I can't seem to get the actor Manoj Bajpai out of my head!! He is the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen on screen. Those intense eyes are killing me!! And that tenor voice...He is a helluva guy. Help! I'm regressing to teenage sentimentality...

I liked him in satya..... when i was studyin in india, somewhere in Maharastra, I remember people gathering in the evening for Ganapathi festival, where they make stage, and plays bhajans of ganesha....(goes on for couple of weeks I guess). I asked a man , why is it so crowded, and he told meh, jackie, madhu and Biku matre is coming tonight.... i was like who Biku Matre.... and he told meh.. haven't ya watched satya?.... I was like... nahhh...
Later afta couple of days/weeks.. i saw it..... in the theater.... It was great... loved it.... "Mumbaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ka Don kaunnnnnnnn..... BIKUUUU MATREEEEEEEEE"...Loped it.... :)
Just reminded meh of that.. simplegal's complicated emotion le ehehhe lol.. now tats funny:p

Indisguise, I haven't seen Satya. Have yet to see it....I saw Pinjar last week and fell flat on my face and haven't been able to get up since! :)

If you liked Manoj Bajpai in Pinjar, then you will love Ajay Devgan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Have you seen that movie? Although I have to say that its the character they played and how their appearance went hand-in-glove with it that I really liked, rather than the appearance of the actors themselves.

Oh my god! I was just gonna mention Johnny Depp! No one can look as hot with square jaws as him. And what about the look in Pirates of the Carribean? It takes a helluva man to pull that off...
Arjun Rampal is another guy that looks amazing with his square jaws. Actually, I think he resembles Johnny Depp a lot.

A MUST-SEE of Manoj Bajpai's is Zubeida. This movie is one of my all time favorites. He is a great actor (though I don't think he's all that hot...Arjun Rampal on the other hand looks amazing to me!) I saw Manoj's interview a few years ago and he said he's from a Nepal-border town.

I have seen some of the movies mentioned by Rosie et al. Have yet to see Satya and Road. Maybe tonite :D Ke garnu, although there is an Arjun Rampal and a Johnny Depp, Nicholas Cage with his droopy eyes and Ajay Devgan with his intensity are good too...But Manoj Bajpai beats them all any day, at least in my eyes! And beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, haina ta?? ;)

The last time I went to an Indian restaurant for dinner(mmmm mmm, Dosa), I see these Indian actors bandying about on television. The male actor clearly carried a torch for the female counterpart, that much was obvious...looked to me like the man was trying to woo the babe...the dance probably followed a "rape scene" as anybody who has watched Indian movies would know how formula based Bollywood movies are. I assumed this type of Western dance is popular in India. It made me laugh out loud. It was so comical myaaaaanl. They were all dallying about in a rather awkward fashion to the cadence of a hot Hindi song. The song was good, but the dance was so awkward. I was literally on the floor, LMAO....

I am thoroughly enjoying what various sajha friends have written here. I am a little miffed, however, to see the anti-Indian sentiments floating around. An actor, good looking or not, belongs to the world -- he/she is an artist and hence beyond national boundaries. Let's not use our prejudices, whatever their nature, to slander people who belong to the world of art, not the world of political and personal animosity.
Satya is definitely top on my list once this semester is done. :) And Garibjanta, you have quite the eye for fine performances/performers!

Hey there Thugged _out, as far as what u wrote in this forum, I was vehemently against u.But what u wrote about those goons dancing around n u having a good laugh, I have to agree with you wholeheartedly,Bro.
Though, I used to watch hindi movies till my mid teens, now I find it damn stupid and sometime wonder what kind of people would watch same stupid shit again n again.
Nowadays, I have completely shut myself away from this bollywood entertainment.It sux big time.
Simplegal, I undestand that u seem to b big fan of bollywood but the truth is the idustry that makes movies are r all stupid.No doubt, it is the worlds biggest show biz industry but ur Amita Bachan which ever heavy weights can't even generate as much influence as Jackie Chan from hongkong.
U can talk great things about bollywood stars but none of them have the calibre to make it to the world like the hongkong stars.If u talk about good looks and acting, there r so many Tom,Dick, Hary,Sally Mary in the west.Your indian actors and actress comes nowhere.Don't ever compare about looks !!! Western people or "angmoh" they call in Singapore are far better looks.
