SAJHA: In My eyes Beauty as people say lies in the eye of beholder My sajha, you are always an apple of my eye Had not been Ashley’s beautiful “life is sweet”, Oys_chill’s wonderful, memory lanes Or Meera’s exquisite narration of “Etiquettes” or “Friend’s forever” Sajha would have remained just a common place as “SAJHA” suggests But now, my dear sajha, you are an apple of my eye. Poonte’s “ Chillo Khappar” and his humorous lines: “ tyo dhobini ko chyatteko petticoat ko kasam” and our own premcharo’s “For fun” titles Rusty’s flirts, Bhanja’s photoshop, and breathtaking pictures Or even talks about Bending “PEN made in US” Indeed has given a different flavor in our beloved SAJHA And yes, my dear Sajha, you are an apple of my eye. Nescient always comes with poignant feelings of life, Be it “ voices inside my head” or “ Little princess” Ashu’s with updates in KTM , and even his Ashufoolery’s Or Biswo with his political topics, Has made my Sajha politically, socially, emotionally informative And yes my dear Sajha, you are an apple of my eye. Sajha, a common place for poets, Be it Robert frost with his nature love-filled poems Or Nepe’s excellent Gazal’s And many other great poems by various other wonderful poets Has always made my sajha, a fun place to be And yes my dear Sajha, you are an apple of my eye. SITARA and her “Girl’s night out” Or Nescient’s “My work prostitution” Filled with criticisms and controversies Indeed had received a huge response, but not enough to beat Chipledhunga’s Nepali Antaksheri, or “1:45 Am” updates, Which infact reached the maximum point of 300 response Sajha, a place to see increasing responses, and critics No wonder, my dear sajha, you are an apple of my eye. “ Lakers, Wolves, Pacers, Spurs What’s up with playoffs, analysis, predictions?” Yes, you got that right, our own sports commentary Be it Rusty, Ax, DWI, Go lakers, Spurs fan and many others Or our Sajha Soccer fans with predictions With our Dominatrix, Ed hunter and various other soccer fans Sports commentary is always there, Making Sajha alive in sports perspective And yes, my dear sajha you are an apple of my eye. Be Shefali, our own sajha prom queen, Or Putali 7, our antaksheri queen Even our online chat master Uday All brings joy and happiness in this common sansar And yes, my dear Sajha, you are an apple of my eye. Our own Guru Trikal maharaj, May I bestow upon you To predict the future of our Sajha, And to prevent any disputes of current issues On “heavy bombastic words”, and intelligency To make this common ground filled of peace, love, constructive criticisms And to make our dear sajha, an apple of our eye. The above mentioned figures are not the only members who have contributed their efforts to make sajha: a better community among Nepalese. There are numerous others whose effort has equally played an important role in the success of the SAJHA community. I acknowledge active members like hellbound, cool_keta, dilasha, manavi, kalabati, isolated_freak, etc etc or our vanished active members like Gunaraj, Patali, Putali7, Najar, NK, and many other passive sajha readers. Lets make this community a common ground for all of us. Dedicated to Sajha LOVE, PEACE, AND CARE Jyotsna.

Nice poem Jyotsna, the way you mentioned different names with their work. Living in a small town with barely 5 Nepalis its gets lonely sometimes but ever since someone referred Sajha to me, its become a second home and have met some wonderful people through here. hope for more poems from you in the future.

First of all, my warm appreciation to Sajha admin, including San for featuring this article. and thankyou for all sajhaities for thier positive and warm remarks on one of my attempts to create a bond of peace and love with sajha and all sajhaitites including those who I might have forgotten to include in the above attempt. Luckydude, ladybug, sonika_ny, honeybuzz, and many others, who I have for forgotten to mention in the list, I did not have any intention to exclude any sajhaities, and I am sure all of us here in sajha have contributed one's effort to make SAJHA, a common ground for all of us. Trikal sir, I am honoured to read your positive remarks, the poem was themeless, and was just trying to unite all sajhaities regardless of the ongoing disputes about intelligency, or nationality. Meera, Domina, Rusty, lopsee, dyamn, luckydude, honeybuzz, sonika_ny, ladybug Thanx for your appreciation. Meera, I understand the feeling of living in a place far away from one's familarity. Having a place to share our inner feelings, when we are isolated from our familarity sure does helps in lessening inner pain, and I beleive sajha has served this purpose. Jyots

G_I, You nearly caught me there!!!! :p old sajhaitie with a new nick, gurl leave that job to our investigator charo prem charo from HAWAI, he would take care of it.( wink wink). Hellbound ji, I wish I could have skills like yours in gazal's. You fascinated me with your choice of ghalib's gazal , and the grasp of literature. I yet have to learn various things of literature from great figures like yourself in this sajha world.I am glad you enjoyed my attempt. Edhunter ji, how can I forget ya, I was almost drafted to your soccer club, u remember now:p I came across in one of the thread about usage of " apple of my eye" and " beauty lies in the eye of beholder" as a plagarised form of dictions. I beleive these are an expressions, and need not be in quotations and hence beleive that such expressions are not considered as a plagarism.I hope I am not mistaken.

Jyotsna, Your poem has a best wider range of sense and observation. You go girl... You are the best poet in sajha. Here in Sajha, people try to show their Intellectual ability using hard and complicated words. But they don't understand if readers don't apprehended the meaning or intention of poem, than how good they write, it doesen't matter. You showed them the way. Maybe these "arrogant" people will open their eyes and mind. Jasto dekhyo ustai vanne charo : Prem Charo

Prem Charo, I opt for no barriers to any talents in terms of words/complexities they use. U bro has some inferiority complex. I enjoy every bit of literature written here even if I don't write myself. So stop preaching. There might be lots of people in SAJHA who actually don't like your cheap HINDI sayaries in Nepali site. Still I have no complains and I have enjoyed ur other postings. NO HARD FEELINGS! Peace!

Unfortunately, i don't frequent sajha much these days, however do make an occasional brief visits. Just because i don't write or visit does not mean i am somebody else.....A sajhaite friend brought my attention to this thread and hence this clarification. Jyotsna, Grasp of literature-- first of all you need to have passion of what you do/write, and then feelings and imagination of what you're expressing. I think you got the knack of blending both components with balance, so why don't you try writing more:) PC Hawaii ji, Using complex words doesn't harm your literature at all as long as it makes sense to the writer himself/hersellf. I think I have posted this statement before-- when something comes up to your mind, you grab a piece of paper and portray your thoughts in the form of literature so that your imagination or feeling doesn’t get lost forever. Your literature may turn out to be good or bad or vague to the others, but it is importnant that it makes sense to you. La aro pani sunau sunau

Hellbound ji, thanx for the suggestion. I sure will try more. I am one of the admirers of your writings, The artistic style in which you portray your thoughts are strikiing and simply astounding. PC ji, I envy your residing place, Hawaii: paradise for Jytosna.:p "Good writers define reality; bad ones merely restate it. A good writer turns fact into truth; a bad writer will, more often than not, accomplish the opposite." -- Edward Albee Good writers are those who keep the language efficient. That is to say, keep it accurate, keep it clear. - Ezra Pound (1885-1972), U.S. poet, critic. The above stated quotes are one of my favorites quotes on good writings, and I definitely agree with Hellbound. Kalanki moraa, la hera hamro poonte dai lai ke bidhi tarsaideko, aba nisasine, jhaskane, aatine, daraune banaidera.
