Rato Macchindranath chariot topples
Over half a dozen people were injured when the Rato Machhindranath chariot toppled at Sundhara, Patan at around 9.45pm Sunday.
Hundreds of devotees were involved in the ceremonial rath (chariot) pulling festival when the incident took place.
Police told Nepalnews that those injured seriously have been rushed to nearby Patan Hospital for treatment. No loss of life has been reported thus far.

Why do people pull these tall things down the narrow roads anyways. One Day I was down in Chikamungal, down by chatamari cheen and they were pulling Rato Machindranath and it seemed like every house on the sides got smashed by it. Same thing with Kumari Rath.

It could be that some people intentionally toppled the chariot? You know with all the belief thing and all that.

The wheels were sabotaged , and the construction's center of gravity was off-center, the road was booby-tapped by pot holes and the those pulling on one side was stronger than the other-- CIA has something to do with this bias!

Adding to Sitara's post (that was funny!), CIA has sent Rato Machindra Nath (RMN) to Iraq to find the WMD, not to worry too much about the calamity (since there was no Machidra there), and it is said that if RMN finds the WMD, the US will give loads of cash, and in an interview, RMN said that the first thing that will be fixed are the potholes, as its creating a lot of discomfort during the Jatra to RMN, when asked what about MAO problem, RMN will be getting outtaa there if that is to happen.
..TOO, When in doubt, behold conspiration.
