I see some intersting pics on the News from the protest that is going on in the streets of Kathmandu. I see some Old people looking all determined, some people with their head broken, some chubby politician getting excited in the front line, some tired and helpless cops holding the chubby politicians and some frustrated looking cops kicing on someone's face. Also, i see some people burning tires, some throwing stones and some kicking on the bars on the streets. I get amazed to see how determined and how serious those Nepali people are to establish democracy again. However, one thing i do not understand. where were those people when the leaders who are leading them right now were doing corruption? When they know thier leaders are corrupted- why are they still supporting them; those determined looking people? Why are they kicking on the bars and throwing stones to the cops? are those bars on the streets not thiers? are those cops not Nepali? What do they have in mind behind going on the protest? When i look at the situtation with the above questions in my mind , it gets terribly frustration. Most people in the streets belong to parties who think they can benefit more if thier corrupted politicans get the power again. They feel obligated to support them, cuz they got the jobs from them. Some are paid from the party- uh huh, people's money. These people do not know what they want. those little kids throwing stones are not freedom fighters, they are some kids that are outcomes of lack of discipline in our society. if they were real patrotics , they would be supporting the king at the moment and they will be supporting their troops who are fighting int he forests and hills and in lonely barracks and police posts in remote places. if they were real patrotic , they would be joining the army - not throwing stones at the cops and running hiding in the streets of kathmandu, if they were real patrotics they would not have brought this situation, if they were patrotic they would not be supporting thier corrupted leaders who gonna make the situation much worse if they come to power. I think, these people are selfis people marching and breaking thier head to show some hunumannish after thier netas. I think , these people are not patrotic. I think these people are stupid... Now throw some stones at me, bash on me, call me bad names.. i don't care.. i can take it.. i know democracy means that to you, for me democracy means i can speak up.. and i'll do that... Sad looking at the pics from the streets of KTM< dyamn bahadur..

Bahadur Dyam, You knew it’s coming, so here it comes; here comes the answers in the language you understand. People vent their anger differently at different times. Desperate time demands desperate measures. The bars on the street today will be the gates of Narayanhiti tomorrow. >>Fighting in the forests and hills and in lonely barracks For who? For me or for you? >> If they were real patrotic , they would be joining the army. What makes RNA patriotic? Are they figting with an invading foreign powers? Is guarding the gates of Narayanhiti the definition of being patriotic? If so, Hajur ko patriotism lai badhai chha. Do they have guts to fight with Indians if they have to? If they have guts to fight with Chinese if they have to? Killing our own innocent brothers, most of the time, in the hill towns makes them patriot? They resemble Saddam’s army, just good for keeping the gate of palaces safe. >>If they were patrotic they would not be supporting thier corrupted leaders. We can change our leaders, if he is wrong. Can you change your king? >>Corrupted leaders who gonna make the situation much worse if they come to power. You should own a fortune telling parrot and station in Ratna Park. You would do better there than defining patriotism. >>King. The one roams around showing off his popularity and scared to take a test of his popularity (Constitutional Assembly)? Can he not enjoys his Bentlies and Patriotic Parrots? >> I think these people are stupid. Did you just see your multiple images in the mirror. Must be scary!!!!!

Shrestha NS, Of course the language was understandable for an English-language illetrate like me, however the points you were trying to make were vague and confusing. Brother, I think you're mistaken with the ' Democracy' and what we had in Nepal for 14 years. What's was going on in Nepal under the chor politicans was not democracy, it's rubbery from the politicians. You said , you can change your politicians? hmmmm ya, right ! ... i've seen girija changed so many times, i've seen govinday changed so many times and i've seen so many other politicians changing thier color so many times. Yeah, my king doesn't change, which is good. Nepal needs positive change, Nepal needs stability and with the punk politicians and the democrazy they are trying to bring "AGAIN", your point becomes hillarious. " "DEMOCRACY", brother .. let me know one thing: do you call it a democracy where maoists were killing people in the villages and politicans were riding pajeros in the streets with the money of the poor people who can't even feed themselves? do you call it a democracy where netas are fooling innocent villagers? >>Fighting in the forests and hills and in lonely barracks "For who? For me or for you?" For us brother , for us.. they are risking thier lives for you and me. they are the ture heros.. they are protecting the country and sparing thier blood to save us from the bunch of communists who will make your life HELL...you think Nepal ARMY /police should just get on with you and your punk netas and throw some more stones and destroy some more bars on the streets. You think they should just drop the weapons and give the country to maoists ro run where they gonna run a dictatorship...haaaaa, i would love to see your protesting in the streets when maosits would be running the country.. they would shoot your little revolunatory asszzzz or kick it all the way to banaras where you would eat some paan and do some Nepali mujura for your Indian big brothers who are running Nepali poppets like Girija and Co...... pathetic...

Patriotism is subjective. Different people view patriotism in different ways. It is same with act of patriotism. Maoist think they are patriotic. They are risking thier life, for thier dreams and believes of better Nepal. Royal Nepal Army think that they are patriotic. They are fighting in order to restore peace and safety in the nation and see better Nepal. Protesters out in the street think that thier act is patriotic one. They are protesting because they want to see enhanced nepal. These people might differ in thier act but they all have the same goal ie 'better nepal'. I salute all of them for the goal they have. They all are patriotic . But wouldn't it be possible to achive thier goal of better nepal by working together in unity. I hope these people would realise the fact that 'United we stand, divided we fall' and work in accord towards thier same goal which infact is achievable . Lets pray and act together for dream of better nepal.
