Riten, Thanks for your comment and appreciation of my republican stand. Given the results of student union 'simulated' elections, I still believe I am a mainstream:-) In any case, I want to assure you that I don't belong to extreme.I am not a political person either. It is just that I don't want to live under the king who has no regard for ordinary people like us. I also don't want to live under military rule of any kind. I think in Nepal we can prosper only by having democracy, where each individual is equal, where our society practices tolerance to each ethnic groups and where we have pluralist political system. Not a big thing to demand.:-) |
