Powell adds 10 to terror list
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Big News Network.com Friday 30th April, 2004

Secretary of State Colin Powell has designated 10 additional groups as terrorist organizations, the U.S. State Department said Thursday.

All 10 have been placed on the department's exclusion list. The designations are effective immediately.

As a result of these designations, the U.S. government excludes members and those providing material support to such entities from the United States.

The groups include, Babbar Khalsa International and the International Sikh Youth Federation, which represent a faction of India's Sikh community, the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), Dhamat Houmet Daawa Salafia, a group representing the Salafi Muslim sect, the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement, Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group, the Islamic International Brigade, the Riyadus-Salikhin Reconnaissance and Sabotage Battalion of Chechen Martyrs, the Special Purpose Islamic Regiment and the Tunisian Combat Group.

The Secretary also added aliases to two others organizations on the list, Wafa Humanitarian Organization, which also has an Arabic name, and Waldenberg, AG as an alias for Al Taqwa Trade, Property, and Industry Co. Ltd.

The people who invaded Iraq and hundreds of innocent people lost their lives. What will their parents or relatives think of US? They were exactly like dacoits. Now, almost all Iraqis hate US. The more hate, the more insecurity for US, though they create terror list.

Well, it's up to the Bush admin to add whatever number of groups into their terror list, it hardly makes much different in onther parts of the world outside the United States. Till this day after 9/11 (if not, from the begining of mordern civilization) ) hardly the terrorism has been abandoned by pursuers of such acts by so and so groups. Since there is no universal (if not, a standard) defination of terrorism . It is ok if someone agrees with their defination however I dont believe everyone should be compelled or feel compliant with the definations set by the Bush admin just because the Bush admin declared so.
Probably, the act of terrorism (as defined by the Bush admin) and the groups willing to committ such acts will continue to remain till the end of human civilization.

I am not suggesting Bush is doing the right, and we all know what a moron he is. He is proving to be a failure day by day, no doubt about it. I can't help noticing how goofy he looks with his cunning grin he makes when he is replying to media.

Whatever are the arguments for and against this president, there is no doubt that non-compliance with this alert would lead people to uncomfortable situation. What I am suggesting now is, if you are found donating to maoist organization from US - however small amount it might be - express support and claim to be a member, you would perhaps be treated no different than with AL Qaeda members now.
