haha. i "landed" in nyc as a kid.. and have tons of new yorker friends who wore born and raised here ...whats the big freaking deal.. they are not all high and mighty and bitchy..most new yorkers in the city are very open minded, liberal, intelligent...not constantly whining and bitching..and disagreeing with eveything without being able to produce a good enough reason.. real new yorkers do not feel the need to go around boasting that they live in the most awesome city in the world.. they are way too cooler than that..
well i guess it also depends on what part of New York you are from.. NY after all is a big state..but anyhow, i am digressing...

Sonika, iv noticed plenty of times that u seem to look down on nepali's who was originally born in Nepal and migrated to US. It's all fair if u are proud of your birthplace, we all are really, but to put down others coz they are born in their motherland Nepal is just ...low.
