NRNs call for peace in Nepal
The Association of Non Resident Nepalis (NRNs) has appealed to all conflicting parties in Nepal for reconciliation and peace.
In a recent statement by International Coordination Council of the Association, it has stressed that only a peaceful negotiated solution can help resolve the current political impasse in Nepal.
For this, the Council has decided to initiate the Diaspora Peace Petition Campaign, according to the statement.
The NRNs may have scattered all over the world, but their affection towards Nepal is unconditional and indubitable, it said, adding that NRNs should not remain aloof from Nepal's domestic affairs.
