Tehran, Aug 11, IRNA -- Based on a report published by the Persian
daily Aftab-e Yazd, the valuable version of Ferdowsi's well-known epic
Book of King (Shahnameh) stolen from Nepal National Museum 22 years
ago, has been found in Nepal by the police.
According to the report, three persons were arrested in Nepal's
capital city of Kathmandu by the police, while they were about to sell
the worthy book for dlrs 800,000. The Kathmandu police declared that
the gold applied in the book is worth millions of dollars.
As confessed by one of the arrested persons, who used to work at
the court of Nepal's Monarch King Birendra, 20 years ago, Shahnameh
was stolen from Nepal National Museum in 1979 for prince Gyanendra,
the younger brother of King Birendra assassinated recently.

afterall Iran is a friend of India.
