i ain;t one.. but i thought that the Matrix 3’s ending’s sucked big time man… Machines are supposed to be evil.. juz by destroying that Agent Smith program.. and supposedly saving the machines… I presume… couldn’t catch most of the plot of the movie anyway… the machines were juz supposed to let the humans live? Man… the machines were supposed to be evil… they could have just destroyed those humans… they ain’t supposed to stick to the rules… any reasons why the din’t destroy those humans in there??

I am a big matrix fan. I liked the ending. Neo gets into the sysetm to destroy the sytem (mr smith).. also, don't forget the ending- astao ma satgamaya; tamaso ma jyotirgamaya... paid 15 dollars to see it, the saw it again, meaning spent 30 dolalrs (US), so I can't complain, even if I want to :-(

Agree with EdHunter. The source of the evil was the machine (& architect). Mr. Smith was just one small manifestation of the evil. The writers twisted the story to focus the root of evil towards Mr. Smith. I liked the ending, but the theme was diverted from the original plot.

The third installment felt like they were giving a friggin' soapboax oratory, according to my cuz. I haven't watched it, but the first two were definitely out of this world.

Enlighten us then confused.. why did they attack the humans? What’s agent Smith’s destruction gotta do anything with the machines NOT destroying the humans?? The first 2 were great, and I was like thinking that the last instalment would be awesome… BUT.. the ending juz screwed it up.. Hero destroys villain… the MAIN villain (the machines; supposedly supposed to be EVIL for God’s sake) makes a pact with the hero and lets his race off scott free if he destroys the other villain.. hero destroys villain, machines let off human race and they lived happily ever after; the only drawback being that the Hero dies… or does he?? now if u were the machines then, wouldn’t u wanna destroy the humans as well?? Who cares about a silly old pact?? Considering that u were evil and all that bullshit thingy… at the end of the movie I was like… Crap ending…!!! And yeah redstone… I saw that movie on DVD… and it was a freaking waste of my ££££. Though I rented it… :P
