seriously, I see something like " Sade haru ko ladai, bacha ko michai" Two warriors, riding on horses are fighting for the girl but they don't know that their fight is killing the girl...... that's my analysis of the picture.

A community would be better served if one respects the idea of 'intellectual property.' Yes, it is a knockoff. Guernica, rings a bell? killerbuzz where did you get this knockoff from? If you happen to be around Spain please go visit Reiner Sofia. You might be enlightened. By the way, Picasso painted Guernica protesting the facist bombing of the town Guernica (Spain). It was an antiwar statement. The knockoff also says the same thing. Please tell me killerbuzz that I am right. ;)

by the way, both of the guys are not on horses. the one on the left is on horse, other on foot, and naked. see his balls hanging :| and the woman is half-naked too. with the kid next to her looks like he's crying and asking those two men to stop fighting.

a mother, breastfeeding her child, is suddenly and fatally attacked by a soldier on horseback. The father, who obviously was sleeping in the nude, is rudely awakened. He hastily puts on his armor and attacks the soldier to save his child and avenge his wife's brutal murder.

Not exactly an abstract art. The pillars of the house in the backdrop, the protective gears (head and ankle) that the warrior is wearing, says he is a Roman Soldier. The man on the horse symbolises invasion, the black shade could just be a shadow effect. He might be from a spaniard colony. As most observers pointed out, The woman and the child represent how the family is left helpless for this cause, the war. Any more observation would be over-analization of this art.

OK PEEPZ ... TIME FOR THE TRUTH ... I'M SURPRISED THAT THIS MANY PEOPLE TRIED BUT AIN'T GOT NEAR .... DAANG GOT IT RITE ,YEAH ITS A PICASSO WORK ... GIJANE, I'M SORRY TO SAY THAT U'RE WRONG GURL ... I'LL POST A PAINTING OF GUERNICA AFTER THIS, BUT NICE TRY THOUGH ... DALLIPOKCHI'S COMMENT THAT SHE THOUGHT IT WAS HORSE'S BALL SHOWS THA INDEED GURLS ARE DUMB .... HEHE ... DWI, VERY ANALYTICAL THINKING BRO ... YEAH , THEY ROMAN SOLDIERS ... AIGHT HERE IS WHAT THE PAINING DEPICTS : TITLED "RAPE OF THE SABINES", PICASSO PAINTED IT WHEN THE ROMAN RULER ROMULUS REALIZED THAT THERE AIN'T ENOUGH WOMEN IN HIS TOWN .. SO ROMULUS ORGANIZED A FEAST AND INVITED THE "SABINES" WITH THEIR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS ... DURING THE FEAST, AT A GIVEN SIGN, THE YOUNG ROMANS KIDNAPPED THE WOMEN AND PUT TO FLIGHT THE MEN. BUT SOME TIME LATER THE SABINES, LEAD BY TITUS TAZIO KING OF CURITI, A SABINE TRIBE, CAME BACK TO FREE THEIR WOMEN AND TO TAKE REVENGE FOR THE INSULT. A YOUNG GIRL, TARPEA, OPENED THE TOWN GATES TO THE SABINES: BUT SHE IMMEDIATELY PAID FOR HER DEED WITH A TERRIBLE DEATH. SHE WAS CRUSHED BY THE SHIELDS OF THE ROMAN SOLDIERS ... THIS IS THE MOMENT PICASSO PORTRAYED IN THIS PAINTING ... WELL, DON'T WORRY THIS WAR HAD A PEACEFUL ENDING AS ALL THE SABINE WOMEN KINDA FELL ATTRACTED TOWARDS THE ROMANS (I WONDER WHY???) AND ROMULUS AND TITUS TAZIO RULED THE TOWN TOGETHER, SABINES AND ROMANS BECAME ONE PEOPLE .... AIGHT PEEPZ, SORRY FOR ANY PLAGIARIZM AND TYPOS .... PEACE .....
