hi guys.. I was juz wondering if any of u, those who live in the UK or rather.. anywhere in the EU anywayz… have u guys ever heard of a visa, which entitle us to travel all over Europe w/o having to make an individual visa for each country which yah wanna visit. i.e some sort of student ID u know… not too sure whether it exists anot but was juz wondering… I’m planning to go on a lil visit around Europe this coming summer and any help would be welcome… thanks peeps.. :P by the way anyone wanna join me??? an open invitation to one and all.. hahaha… cheers!!

You heard it right... You could go upto 11 countries back in 2001-2 but the list may have gone longer. Keep in mind it is no good for UK for which you need to get different visa. I am sure you could go to Germany, Belgium, France, Austria, Netherlands etc. with the same visa. You could go to consulate of any of those countries for the visa issuance. Hope this helps.

Its called "Schengen Visa". The countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. You need only one Visa and can go around any of above mentioned countries. For the rest, you need extra visa from their own Embassy. There are countries which are NOT in EU, but in Schengen (Noway and Iceland).

hey thanks a lot u two... especially on the info on the Schengen visa.. that was a lot of help.. anyway, have u guys ever applied for such a visa?? and how easy or difficult it is to get the visa...?? once again. .thanks a lot for the help yah guys...
