Do u guys know if there is a directory for Nepalese people living in U.K. I have been trying to find some folks , the yeti.org does not provide any sort of informatrion that I am looking for. is there any site, where I can look at list of nepalese people?

I doubt if such a list exists.
But I have heard that there are some association of Nepalese in London and Manchester but dont have any further detail, I am afraid.

Hhhm..i been there several times and ppl are very friendly buuuutt..hee hee..too many scousers walking around in their joggin bottoms and rockport shoes.......js jus kiddin, im not that superficial! About the ketis in the fish market..hhhmm...well i dont think thats true at all, well only way to find out is to go there and buy some machas..yeh lets have a Sajha Gathering at the fish market... Hee hee...somethin original ta hoina, we need to book a hall and caterers and hav disco lights..we can walk the markets and city of Liverpool, visit Anfield (if our Dan is amongst us.) .. grab a bite etc.. sound fun to u lot? ;o)
Locus...Jag is right, there are Yeti Associations in London and Manchester..they will have list of registered Nepali people so maybe if u mail them or call them u may find ur answer...alternatively u can just mention their city and surnames here and ya never know ,some one may know them..it is a small world..;o)

Yeh i been following Prem footy and all, ever since i can remember!!..im tomboy in that sense where i love footy coz i been sourrounded with brothers me whole life, so i grew up playing/watchin sports (footy!!), wrestling (hee hee..have a go if ya think ur hard enuf!).. computer games, cars (i love cars)..hee hee...but my other half of me is all feminine dont u worry about it sweet thang.. ;o)

I am planning a term abroad at University of Leicester in the fall. Are any of you or anyone you know living/studying in or near the city/university of Leicester? How lively is the city? What are some places there to hang out? What can one do there for fun?
It would be fun to meet some fellow sajhaites in and around Leicester.

hello pple…!!! a very warm welcome to u all… the UK sajhaite seems to be growing by the day..a total of lemme c… 6 of us.. whoopee… and a future Nepali Livepudlian on the way as well…(did I get the spelling right Domi) hmmm.. maybe we can one day meet up and have our very own sajha gathering in the UK. .those in the US.. well they seem to have regular gatherings… and there seems zero, zip, none, zilch gatherings here in the UK… :P

Good to see you all.Here I am, antoher Sajahites from UK.Sorry Posh, I have been busy last few days in work so didn't see this thread at all.
Liverpool is not bad idea for Sajahites gathering. Does the buliding infront of train station still have that poster of MOLANISA(with Lennon head) holding guitar?In case it is not there, I have attached picture below.
But I will suggest Cambridge, as it is middle of UK. Summer is wonderful, we can even book couple of boats from colleges so we can all go for Punting together. After that we can go to EAGLES PUB where WATSON and CRICK found DNA. We might also find something new.hi hi hi............What do you say POSH?
JB-good luck for exam.
Shagadelic-there are bunch of Nepalese students in Leicester.City is beautiful,lots of Indian though.Easy to get anywhere in UK, right in middle,1 hour from London.

EH and Domi – language hasn’t been much of a problem; they speak English anyways, but the accent is somewhat different……..but again, in UK, accent changes by the streets, I guess. Anyways, if u guys want to come to wales, CROESO (which in English means welcome – that’s the only welsh word I have learnt so far)
