Upadhyay's "Arresting God in Kathmandu" is doing very well. Read and listen to these reviews, which I'm posting separately because my ^%& computer is not letting me do it here. To get such review from National Public Radio is great deal indeed. Newsday says he is better than Jhumpa Lahiri. Imagine that! This is very exciting for all Nepalis. I am trying to find out his address/phone number/ or email so we can find out his reading tour. If anyone knows, please post it here. I'll post it here if I find out.

When is Samrat Upadhyay coming to Boston as someone was saying? There are those to love to boast about their indulgent far and wide travels in this website, and there are those who just go do it and make us proud. How refreshing that Samrat is one of the latter! Who knows, Samrat may be the next Pulitzer Prize winner! Jhumpa Lahiri, by the way, was very good too.

>There are those to love to boast about their >indulgent far and wide travels in this >website, and there are those who just go do >it and make us proud. How refreshing that >Samrat is one of the latter! And there are those such as our " bostonian" who love to post anonymous messages against others on this site with no sense of responsibility and, the above, in an apparent fit of jealousy. How refreshing that Samrat seems to have the courage to use own name, thank his long-time supporters such as Ashu and and make us all proud!

What's with the name hangup again, dhiraj (or whatever your real name is)! If this site required authentication for a real name, it would be designed as such. And what's with the jeolousy theory? Anyone who can read between the lines can tell who's the real jealous one here. So I have to thank Ashu for Samrat's success and make you proud?? How absurd is that? Ashu himself (and you) must be green with envy at Samrat's success! Go Samrat, we're waiting to meet you here in Boston!!
