Bhattarai has been a successful prime-minister during a very difficult time. I think there's hope for him to be successful. But, you need to look at the prevailing situation. See the example - SBT was very successful in getting what Late King wanted in 036, but miserably failed to serve King G's purpose. |

Agree with bardan.. once my friend told my jokingly: "hudaina bihan mirmir ma tara marera nagaye, Bandaina muluk dui char "BUDA NETA" marera nagaye" Now i realize where he was coming from :). boru, jus to appease all the hunger prone leaders, 5 -6 euta prime minister ko post banauna mildaina??? :) jus wondering. |

Hahaha..now even Krishna Parsad is ready to become the PM. I am SO proud of my country now -- we had a king who was in comma and seems like we are going to have a PM who has to be guarded by 15 people, not for security but because we do not know when he is going to fall down. Seems like the country is in a record-setting mood. I say, let's have a *bhoot* (ghost) of somebody -- Ganeshman? -- as the PM. Let's find a "swachha chhabi" ko bhoot. Can some pancha pass the message to Maila Kaji? |

Ex-Army chief a confidant to the King thinks there is no gas in the current Anti-Regression movement (According to BBC interview). According to him mere 5,000 rented andolankari can do nothing. Seems like there is no way the King is giving up. Hope he does not at the time and eventually the political parties will come to senses and take on the Republican slogan soforth put by the students and the Shah rule ousted from our country forever. Just a wishful thought.... |

AIPji I also think the king thinks exactly the way some of the pinheads here think: that andolan is nothing, that the king should appoint someone like Sachchit shamsher or marich man. It is time king reveal his intention, and people also show their power. Belating the inevitable, which is the direct confrontation between the king and the people, doesn't make sense. What's point of forming a ' people's government ' if the government can't prosecute corrupts from royal family, his chamches, and can't fire useless army brass who became army heads only because of their connection/inborn caste/prabhu puja? Let history take its course. We are merely the spectators, applauding from side the people's steely willingness. |

I am just wondering that " why don't royalist understand the meaning of democracy" In democracy, netas could be changed by time from election and Majority rule the country and minority will be in next side watching majority's work and pin point their mistakes and flaws. In autocracy, where is majority? who gonna pin point gyanne's mistakes............. I am just wondering " Why educated people, especially who are studying in US support King".
