What happened to our basketball and soccer team this year for ANA?? I don't see Boston's name in the list of praticipating teams.
Hope we are not scared against Laxmi?

The way the things are going, seems like we ( Boston ) are not taking part in any competition this year. Chances of us competing in Basketball is under 50% and soccer is under 10%. No one is taking any initiative. Mailey maatra ke garnu ?? Waakaii bhai sakey ma ta :-(

Oh come on Boston has to participate. Boston B-ball team is one of the best Nepalis Basketball in US. I don't know much about Soccer. Come on guys don't dissapoint your FANN.

How come Boston Basketball is best Nepalis Basketball in US??
The only time they play to all Nepalis Basketball in ANA..and Basketball started in ANA from 2002
2002 Champ = Washington, DC
2003 Champ = Dallas
2004 = They don't even have gut to say they are participating...

Got myself busy for past couple of weeks.... Was going through some kinda training (not sports related haha)... surprised to hear all these Comments. Let me wake up our guys.
Arizona is not the most desirable venue yet.. I am gonna be there no matter what. If people like you root for us I am sure more guys will be motivated.
Give us a weeek or two.... Boston is there to be.

I've done all I can to call upon guys to Basketball. I don't have enough people willing to go, therefore i don't think there will be a Boston Basketball team this year. I know it's sad, but no one is willing to go and i can't force people to go against their will.

If you guys need I can play but I don't know how to play BB. I am just being fan of Boston BB. Been reading all the posting abt Boston BB on the other thread. Felt you guys talk too much...
What I was hoping for is, action...
I thought, even I don't play I will be cheering for Bos BB team...BUT NOT...

If you've seen us play, then you'd think otherwise. We aren't just talkers, i started that thread simply to recruit people for our team. Laskmi started the trash talking and I being a proud Bostonian, answered back to her trash talking.

Well bal Bal Bahadur thanks for your support but i don't think Boston basketball team needs any guys cheerleader, we got enough chicks to cheer for us casue we are good. the thing about ANA is sad news for boston but u know that there is always tomorrow.

Oh come on guys you have play. Seemed like last year there were too many players and now this year there isn't any...... I mean it's sad to know Boston won't be playing. One of the reason I wanted to go to ANA was to see yo guys play and cheer but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen this year............... You guys still have about a month and I think you can probably pull it off if you try hard. There should be anough players I mean there is BALLER, PROUDNEPALI, JONNY BLAZE (hopfully), BALLER come on dude talk to all the people from last year, convince them. I know you can do it......... BRO Bal-Bahadur!! Bal ta hami sanga pani chha. Himmat pani chha. Just that the venue is far in the desert and not many people are willing to go there. Last year it was in Colorado, not many people were willing to go either. After, a lot of conversations we were able to recruit plenty of players. This year, seems like it's not gonna happen. Anyhow we are Ballers and you can count on us. I myself and My Brother NepaliBaller will try our bests to encourage our other friends.
(I bet you..... if ANA is in the East Coast.. we will have 3 teams at the least. people can say anything they want about the situation... the Bottom line remains the same. We are Competitors and we will not lose hope until the ANA is over).
It's very good to know that people have been expecting us. We appreciate your concerns.

Good to see you involved in the Boston BBall scene. How's the soccer team doing?
It took me a while to figure out who you are.
Here're two hints to help you figure out who I am:
1. We played soccer together in DC when our team all pretty in our mellow yellow jerseys got our asses kicked in the first game against Nebraska.
2. I randomly bumped into you at that mall-what's its name?- that one in Lechmere? Yeah, I met you there the day before I left Boston.
I'm so glad to see you on this board that I'll give you a bonus hint as well.
3. We used to pick you up close to the Sullivan Square station en route to our practice venue in Cambridge.

I am not sure about the soccer team. I myself, haven't been going to play soccer for sometime. Seems like none is interested to travel that many miles (hours). Of course there are few guys who wanted to play but soccer ain't a game of few people. We will probably play soccer for fun this summer.

There is a Nepal based basketball team that is better than Lakers or Spurs. They say no team even comes close to this team in Kathmandu. Unfortunately, they don't play with any other team either and think they are the best ever.
Get real! if you can't make it to the championship, stop saying that you're the best.

But hey we will be playing Basketball games in the indoor court so that's not a big problem. The problem is are you willing to go there.....?

No doubt Kobe is real MVP of LAKERS...
I think PISONTS has LEGIMATE shot to be Champion (I used to think they have CHANCE)
