You made my day by posting that link there
I have been trying to locate the link since yesterday. Among the winners. i have one of my very close relative's name, which elated me so much that I am running around like a monkey' Budrukkka.budrukka.. uffrera..hehe
everyone at my work is thinking I have lost my mind but who gives a fu**...

Neural, are you still back in KTM..Diid not I meet you in our Sajha KTM gathering..

Again thanks a lot..

Everyone, FYI, I had declared that i was never again going to post here with this name ..but unfortunately I cannot locate my login pasword for my new ID, and had no choice..I know no-one gives a damn about it but I do , and thus my statement as P.S.

and congrat to those who have won The DV or have a Natedar, bhaidar, Biradar and what ever " dar" as a winner, including myself.

Peace..

Mitra 2 Posted on 21-May-04 07:01 AM

Dumbao,
As soon as I saw that name, I suspected that must be your relative. In fact, that's the only name familiar to me from the whole list. Congratulations!

BTW, I just know who you are based on our past conversations and a reliable sajha sulsule :)
DHUMBASSE Posted on 21-May-04 07:07 AM

Another money making oppurtunity for some of YOUR relatives in Kathmandu who can charge lots of money for sponsoring these DV visa winners. Last year's rate was Rs. 300,000 per person but it is expected to go upto Rs. 500,000 this year. Stay tuned...
llcoola Posted on 21-May-04 12:56 PM

how is this list created? looks like the list of ppl living in Nepal only. Can you explain?
Mitra 2 Posted on 21-May-04 01:53 PM

It seems like those post office workers are sorting it out. It is intersting to see such a list, but isn't this illegal? Aren't they violating privacy of those winners? No wonder we keep hearing the complaints that incoming mails from foreign coutries get lost in our country!
s_ita Posted on 21-May-04 02:43 PM

out of 433 only 220 listed, where is the rest ????? still coming & updating??????
dyamn Posted on 21-May-04 10:35 PM

I am against DV. I say , give green cards to the students who are already here in the USA and living like dogs, who are more qualified and capable to join the U.S work force and who can be better citizens in the future. on the other hand, i'm happy for our new brothers who will be excited for few months until they find what america is all about.. welcome to the capatilistic world of exploitation and manupulation of darkies...
now bash on me ....

Neural Posted on 21-May-04 10:51 PM

.DHUMBASSE, Congrat man!! :))
no, i left a week before that gathering.
OZ_GUY Posted on 22-May-04 12:38 AM

hey guys, is there any provision for showing required bank balance overseas as a substitute for sponsorship?
Romanticated Posted on 22-May-04 07:33 AM

Mexico's hottest new export, it seems, is strippers who are in such demand in Canada that the authorities has offered temporary work visas to female dancers with documented experience taking it all off.

More than 100 Mexican dancers have obtained Canadian work visas in the past five years, making Mexico the number-two exporter of dancers to Canada after Romania, according to data published by the newspaper Reforma.

"To grant the visas (valid up to six months), the Canadian embassy in Mexico as in other cities worldwide looks at the photos of the candidates, their resumes and finds out if they have the necessary experience," the paper reported.
