They may not necessarily be "dhani bau ka bigreka santan". Some/many/all may be hardworking people, making their own money and just looking to have a good time.
And I have nothing to say if they hold cigarettes and/or marijuana while taking pics. Its their choice.
At least nice to see people having good time in Nepal when all we seem to hear about is bloodshed and dirty politics.

Jagaltayboot, I agree with you. Let people do what they want. It is indeed good to see people have fun. I was getting fed up with pictures of protests, bandhs, and violence. its good for change.

Nepali version of MTV grind umm this is cool. It brings back memories of those jolly blues days and moonsun nights. That was the time when KTM boasted the only few discotheques and a modicum of some wannabe deejays. MTV grind was a dance lesson show and way too erotic to watch with the rest of the family members. I used to pretend I am asleep and come back again at midnight to watch the late night show of MTV grind, after my parents and my sis were sound asleep.
Come next week- we would then put on our best clothes and go to a saturday disco. It was fun. KTM has changed now and so are the kathmanduiets’ tastes and attitudes. Modernism has taken its toll now next to the economic boom and political stability of Nepal which is good in a way and bad in some other ways.
Having my 10th pint of carlsberg for the night and not 2 mention those 2 kamikaze and 2 sambuca shots as an entrée.

wao I am going to have fun when I am back ....our yougsters really experiencing freeeeeedom....I would be the part of them...dont worry guys I would bet if ever this maoshit problem is going to solve in our country it will leave the rest of south asia way behind...n make no mistake abt it ...I would rather choose to be with my people than in this khaires world.
