DJ Barude jyu,

I am sorry not many has paid much attention to your music. Perhaps, there is a good reason for it. Don't you think?

I have downloaded and listened to your tunes and they are okay. I chose to delete it after listening rather than keep it. If you are really pursuing music, let's face it, you have lots of room to improve. By the way, your vocal sucks too.

Hope to hear some improved version soon!

Barude...
Good job. I like the Arpegiator and the string parts. I can understand how fraustating you can get to use strings in sequencers, especially to imitate like real life sound. Do you use harware or software synth? In the future, I'd recommend to get the speed up with some fast songs. I'm working on some songs (no vocals cause mine is terrible; at least you've done pretty good job) myself and I hope to put them on sajha pretty soon. Anyway how do they do that for you? Do you need to have your own website?
nepali_hunk Posted on 25-May-04 11:52 AM

Hi bob_marley,
I use software synth. I actually use FruiyLoops software to create the music and then use Cool Edit Pro to put my voice into the song.. FruityLoops is really easy to learn and you can create high quality music. I have set up a web server at my school and all my songs can be downloaded from there. Sajha.com just put my link on their homepage, which was really nice of them.

Darude...
Damn you're fast replying. Some of your own instrumental are way better than the Nepali tracks. I used to use FL, but now I'm switching to Cubase SX and with Acid Pro. Cool Edit is hard to get updated since Adobe took over. I wish I had some place to put up my stuff too. I do even have AAKASHAIMA, which is way totally different than yours. I've done Jati Maya Layepani, but it's really crappy without real guitar. So far I've not even imaged to put my voice, but some day I'll. Do you use any midi instruments?
Casey00 Posted on 25-May-04 01:09 PM

DJ Barude:

First of all good job dude..

Here is what I thought abt the sonngs:

Aakasima: I liked it but again it got me bored..really quickly..Nice effort though..

Timi Nabhaye: Very cool job..I liked the work u did on this track...first of all I hadnt listened to this song in a while..so it was more like a fresh breath of air...So again great job..

You vocal: I dont think ur vocal sucks..its pretty decent...personally I hate to judge ones vocal without listening to him/her in person....But in all honesty its good..keep it going..

Man..if u have some new Nepali tracks...put it on ur site...

bhanja Posted on 25-May-04 02:26 PM

First an foremost pardon me for comparing u with Hangu lama.As always it is a case when there are people doing a same thing there is bound to be a comparision made. And that is is what I am going to do.

I found your vocal to be ok.But overall if the compostion were to compared to Hangu's, urs were would b lost somewhere.

But off course u may have just embarked in this reimixing hobby.I hope that feedback from this forum proves useful to u and push u to wrok harder for improvement.

Frankly speaking Hangu Bro sounds very pro.But off course he could b one.

Regards,
Bhanja

DJ barude, i think the remix was good..it's a techno beats so i dont really like listening to it, but when u put that track on dance floor, it will take it over the audience...vocal was pretty decent like above fellows already metioned....well i really dont know abt techno music, so i think it was average overall..hey BUT AGAIN! its just me :)
GurL_Interrupted Posted on 27-May-04 11:21 AM

Hey Mr. Dj,

Good going! I still have the ones I downloaded last time that u had posted in sajha! and yes I do listen to them now and then. Nice beats! Thanks to u! Keep on moving like everyone else said!
