Koirala, Nepal urge Ranabhat not to opt for PM

KATHMANDU, May 28 - Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala has urged the speaker of dissolved Parliament, Taranath Ranabhat not to spoil his image by accepting the post of Prime Minister in the present situation.
Speaking during a program in the capital Friday, Koirala said that speaker Ranabhat should not accept the post of Prime Minister, which will spoil his image as speaker.
Speaking during the same program, Madhav Kumar Nepal the General Secretary of CPN-UML also said,” Speaker Ranabhat should give up the greed for the post of Prime Minister.”
On the other hand Ranabhat who was also present in the same program argued that he was qualified for the Prime Minister.
King Gyanendra had granted audience to Ranabhat yesterday to consult on the current political deadlock in the country, after which speculations surfaced on Ranabhat becoming the next prime minister in the media. (hbt)

Ranabhat their own fello! He's been on G. for how long now, forever. He's always been against the Agitation and he is the one claiming for the job on what ground? This is another Bhattari (KP) with a lollipop in his hand.
