Who is this 47 years old BITCH ? Tell this BITCH to go to Nepal for SAMAJ SUDHAR KARYA. There are 4000 villages in Nepal and people out there are suffering from all the basic needs. Everyone in US is perfectly okay regardless of where and how they are working.
Also, ask this BITCH why she is in US? This is not her country. She is also here because she is enjoying more "HAD-DY(Bone)" here than her own country. It does not matter what status people have in US, people are here for a "better life" which their country could not provide them.

This board is being so nasty and iresposible. People have their own style of verbalization. However, the respond to Hari Basnet is overwhelmingly objectionable. Whoever you are, I do not cure, you are the only person who can verbalize those "words" as a response of "Happy Birth Day."

Most people can predict who you are and how you look like. I do not say you are right of doing that. I would say, you must have penitence.
The posting of Hari Basnet (whoever) relates to Namita (whoever) and its saying is to be indifference to someone's business. Isn't it comprehensible for most of us?
The hardship of working in a restaurant is not much different as in working in other sector, where people do not require such a degree. I mean, most of jobs are ruing and painful for the leaving out people. Why do you laugh at them announcing so-called "reformation"? You are better off at some extent. You are happy with your possession and your flow of income. It does not mean that you have to be the "activist" as to the theory of humanity for reforming the restaurant workers.
Whoever you are Namita (registered or non registered) !!!! ????? If you are "registered" or "established” poster on this page, why don't you confront him/her? You can verbalize him/her in a respectful manner, can't you? But, I am not suggesting you anymore. You can depict yourself "barking" more and more, not a problem.

We also support you and Ujwal+Samir. The bitch you are talking about either wants to show that she is a settled one in US or is forgeting what country she is from.
I like the way Ujwal and Samir symbolizing "HADDY(Bone)". Yes, almost all nepali here in US are after a good HADDY that they did not find in Nepal. A good HADDY means anything it is relative to a person. It may be Money or Degree or Status or Research or Secured life etc.
It is a common sense that why people work in some odd enviroment in Indian Resturant or so on. It is worthless to talk about "Exploitation". No socalled Nepali SAMAJ SUDHARAK in US can do anything on this matter. They know it better than Hari Basnet.
Our unsatisfaction is not why Indian Resturants exploit nepali workers, but why
our socalled SAMAJ SUDHARAK are pretending they do not know game of immigrated(legally or illigally) life.

Namitaji, Sorry to see that your good intentions on this matter seem to be going kaput. But worry not.
The restaurant business is notorious for attracting, as its kitchen staff, more than the average share of "wacked-out moral degenerates, dope fiends, refugees, a thuggish assortment of drunks, sneak thieves, sluts and psychopaths".
Those are not my my words, but taken from page 61 of a new book called
"Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly"? It's by Anthony Bourdain. The New York Times Book Review says, "Bourdain gleefully rips through the scenery to reveal private backstage horrors of a restaurant". Maybe this
book will give you some idea about the kind of people, Hari Basnet and others included, you chose to speak up for.

I don't know how the whole thing started but I'm really disgusted and mad at both
parties. We can't go lower than this. By reading the messages in this posting, I've
come to realize that our one strong Nepali Community in Boston is slowly dividing into two parts.
Side One
-----------
So called "Intellect people". Just because they are little successful here in US, they think themselves as Gandhi and Bill Gates and try to run other people's life by making irresponsible comments and remarks. We don't have problem with these people's fame and success and may god give them more success and fame in days to come but these people should stop telling others how to live their lives. If these people really people want to help Nepal, they should just go to Nepal and work for the country. Just by commenting and criticizing Nepal and Nepalese politics is not going to help. For the record, they don't have any rights to set the standards for the Nepalese living in Boston by so called " Indian Resuturant wala" or god knows what else.
Side Two

So called "Indian Resturant Green Card process wala". Honestly, I don't know much about these group of people but they seem to like to comment and complain a lot even for small things. Another sign of them, they will most likely to ask you " do you have a green card yet ?", I don't know why ? but this happend to me many times.Be Careful, some of these people also tend to give hard times to their fellow Nepalese when you visit their stores.
I understand that some of you will be mad at me for posting this message but it is a
fact. I'm a regular visitor of this website and the discussion group but I was really frustrated by reading the comments above. I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feeling and have lots of respect for both parties.You guys might haven't realized this but there are lots of other Nepalese here in Boston who doesn't belong to either groups; like myself. Seems like you forgot all about us and I didn't like that. People like me, always look upto you guys but if you guys keep fighting with each other for stupid things, then what is going to happen to our GBNC Community ? So, please please please, be careful when you post any message next time.

Being a Nepali, I used to be a true believer in helping people to make lives better. But after observing the events in this particular discussion(Indian restaurents), I do not feel one bit sorry for any of the Nepalese working in any Indian restaurents(DON'T EXPECT TIPS FROM NEPALI NEXT TIME). I would rather go help the Tibetan refugees, where you are at least appreciated for TRYING TO HELP. Very typical like our old saying in Nepali NAACH NA jAANNE, AAGANI TAEEDO.
