Rocked in Boston. It was great fun to watch them singing and dancing. Especially Nabin hootin n singin. It was really fun to see Sapana singin. Had great fun while everyone jammed up both during and after the show. Had a wonderful time:)

I don't know if it was that much fun for me. I came there to see some NEPALI songs and after 6 songs each by the singers, the DJ put on English and Hindi songs and a few Nepali songs. Come on, now there are clubs for that. For people who come to listen to NEPALI songs, the program was a BIG disappointment. The real performance lasted barely two hours and then the hall turned into a club. Anyway, I will stop whining.Sorry.
PS: It was great meeting Arnico dai and other sajhahites.

Who is Sapna Pariyaar?? She is a daughter of Madan Pariyar (Saxophonist and renowned musician of Nepal).

i must say nabin is a VERY talented singer. There is a certain melody in all of his songs. The stage kind of looks dissapointing though.

Sapana Shree le khai ko gayak sanga bya garya bhanya jasto lagya thyo--hawa khabar ho ki keho? unko gayak sriman ta hamra gam tira aako jasto lagdaina yo tirip ma. Je hos, Sapana has good voice. Nabin sir ko barema ta aba ke bhanai bho ra.

Sapana Pariyaar, the singer I know is who disappointed me singing all hindi songs last year in NYC. I know the program was for Indian people, but she could have at least sang few nepali songs. There were many nepali audience as well.
She was nice enuff to sign autographs and small chit chat after the show though. And she spoke in Nepali :)
Question to the organizer(s), why do you bring same artists again and again???

Nabin is a great musician( brings lot of melody) but not a great singer.Not taking anything away from him but his vocal is nothing more than ordinary..That kind of vocals arent rare and trust me there are tons of Nepali singers out there who can sing as good if not better than him. The most important think about him is that he brings lots of good tunes and melody. One more thing about Nabin is that he will always be associated with how many albums he sold and how many awards he won...:(
Best Nepalese vocal all time for me:
1) Narayan Gopal
2) Arun Thapa
3) Deep Shrestha
4) Robin Tamang
5)Jon Shrestha..
There are many of em..but these singers are pretty good cuz they carry their unique style.

Only people from New Hampshire attended the concert or what ?? Anyway, I'm seeing lots of activities from north of the border nowdays and which is sorta scaring the heck outta boston's nepalese. First NH's nepalese community and now 3 on 3 Basketball competetion ?? Yestai ho bhaney, one day NH will outdo boston in everything. I can care less about that but I'm kinda HURT by all the good looking girls moving to NH. My point is, MEERA you're da BOMB :-)
