Nice Remix. But do you know that you can submit your song at HitsFm.com.np so that it can be aired through hits Fm channel in Nepal. I think your musu musu hansee dew remix is worth for submit. I think it has better composition as most of pop music produced in Nepal. And definately you will need a good music video if you want to become popular. |

Thanks to all of you for your comments.. I welcome harsh criticisms as well because that will help me produce better music.. So feel free to speak out your mind. And let me know what your all time favourite classic Nepali songs are.. That way I will have more options on what to produce. DJ Barude |

nepali_hunk, ver y impressive. Music has also been my intersest for so long. I am very good at playing keyboard, actually can play it by voice. I am also looking for a good remixing software. Would u mind telling me what software you used? Where did you get all those beats? You can reply at my mail at sauravmanandhar@hotmail.com |

cool_keta, thanks for the comments. I use Fruit Loops software to create the main music... And then I use Cool Edit Pro software to record my voice and put effects on it and then integrate it to the background music. I am sure you can learn them pretty quickly. YOu will have a lot of fun, once you are comfortable with the software. DJ Barude |

Hello, Good music I felt too. But then vocal needs a wee bit more practice like Kickass ji said . Ani I had a pras-na as to in remixes, the only change we see is in the music, vocal remains the same hai na ra. Uhi Rajeev, CT, Amrika Ps BTW, DJ ji great that you are doing all this. Keep it up! |

kura ke bhane ni... My microphone sucks big time.. It's a very cheap mic. I have to be very careful when I am singing on it so that it will not record my breath.. That messes everything.. And out of 10 Nepalese in this town, I am the only person who can sing. So I have no other choice.. I will have to sing but I will buy a good mic and hopefully the songs will sound better. Until next remix, DJ Barude |

The vocals took the spirit out of the songs, what with those pause in the middle. Man nice try and good job ( to encourage you), but there is long way to go and yeah do some riyaz and throat gargling. Hear your next remix and comment if you have improved. In case you don,t feel comfortable with crtics do let me know, I'll abstain from passing my two cents comments. KK |

I have some comments about musu musu remix. Music is ok out of beat sometimes. Vocal is not good. It is off tune and also off beat sometimes .. but keep up the good job. |

listened to musu musu...it was alright....not bad....the song didn't seem to flow well with the music tho....too much going on w/the music and the vocals weren't loud enuff...also the beats of all 4 of ur songs seem very similar....maybe u can change it up a bbit....not that i'mma dj or anything but i 've heard many remixes and i just think u need to kinda work on ur songs a lil bit more...anywayz...i think u're doing a wonderful thing...keep it up... |

On your remix, why don't you take the original vocal and just change the music. Seriuosly, the vocal sucks. Try to sing it a bit louder and also change the notes (give it a bigger range). It sounds monotonous. And also, the music seems to have more like 80's dance beat than today's trance. Don't work too much on drum beats(meaning, have shorter rollings, and with right timing). I know you wanted to be creative by having the rollings before the end of an entire note beat, but it did not sound good. Anyway, keep trying to make it better. One more suggestion: Refrain from overdoing the remix. Too much experimenting can ruin the melody. Good luck, and I hope you guys can bring in some good techo-trance in Nepal music. I love Goa Trance |

Hey Nepali_Hunk, Good job!! it aint an easy job to entertain people with music..Like people have said earlier on this post, which I must say I agree on most parts is that you need to focus on your vocals.....I dont think it totally sucks but for a listener like me it feels like there isn't much feelings to the vocals you are providing ...if you can work on that you will prolly make every song very refreshing ...and unique to listen..The whole idea of remix is to experiment with songs so its ok....keep on doing a great job!!!! One more thing...u've said that there is no one around in town to sing..I know this guy who is a great singer..I have known him for a while..so if you want I can get him to record a rough vocals.and send it to you..and u can work on it..the only problem is that..we rarely use these kind of softwares so if you know ..any good ones for vocals then let me know.. BTW my perosnal fav of urs has been TIMI NABHAYE..which was really unique... Try some Arun Thapa/Deep Shrestha stuffs..I know its hard to compy thier melody but its worth a try.. adios |

DJ_Barude... Is there anywhere you can find some space for me on your web site? I'm not here to challenge you or anything like that, but instead share my knowledge and interests. I've some Nepali instrumental remixes, which I want to share with other people. I've have nothing but to praise you for your effort and I understand you more than anybody else here cause I do that same thing like you. We can exchange our expertise, knowledge and experience and do team projects; even exchange files (I'm quite good with FL Studio). Who knows I might even try adding my voice on your music, I'm not bragging. It's not that or vice versa. Whad ya say? |

DJ Barude, I praise your effort, but the fact remains, you just can't sing. You can't even say some words correctly. Please don't make "William Hung" out of yourself! Find someone who can sing, like that guy named Van Helen did. If you put good people in bad systems, you get bad results. You have to water the plant if you want it to grow. Bob Marley, Good point! Two heads are always better than one. Let's hear your vocal against DJ Barude's music. We might just get another Moby here! Music is essentially useless without melody! |

I am glad you brought up that point Bob_marley. The only reason I make remixes is because I love music and I know remixing will put life back to the old songs that we used to listen on Radio Nepal when we were kids. There are so many songs out there that would make good remixes and I cannot do that alone. I need people like you. So if you have made some remixes, I would love to put them on my website. And please don't think that I will consider this a competition. In fact, I know my voice is not the greatest but I live in a rural town in US where I don't have access to good singers. Anyway, here are the guidelines you can follow: 1) Encode the song in mp3 format (128 kbps) 2) Then upload it in www.coolgoose.com ( You need to set up an account there) 3) I will then go to www.coolgoose.com and download your file to my website.. By the way, what name will you go by? And anybody else who would like to join me in this project can let me know here or send me an email at: duku_online@yahoo.com We can together set up a Fruity Loops tutorial on my website so other people can learn the software and create their own remixes.. Let me know if you have more questions.. DJ Barude |

Nepalu Hunk, personally I think you have a grat future as a DJ. NObody can be perfecrt right ? You can't expect someone tobe good at directing music and sing at same time. Your fan saurav |

Enjoyed it. Brings back the reminiscence of trance which I am very fond of... have been looking for nepali trance all over, but can never get hold of them; this could be a start for the artist who composed it...although purely amateur at this stage... Paul Van Dyke, one of the greatest DJs of all time once said, " use of proprietary remixing software, the right song, melody, and the genius artistry will make u star". BTW, it would be a good idea to study some of these current stars if you have time: http://www.djsammy.de/home.html http://lasgo.be http://www.robert-miles.com/ http://dancevibes.be/artists/artists.jsp And there are lots more... Best of Luck ! -JBeans |

No matter how many times the original song is resung by new talents it will never sound the same, and rarely bettter. I don't think the artist was trying to take away the originality of 'Musu Musu Hansi Deu', but rather enhance it-- via electronica in this case. If you are more of a traditional listener of songs with its original instruments, you will hate this type of music I am afraid. Nonetheless, it's amazing how a recording studio filled with a variety of audio software can do for a trance/electronica artist. Of course, being able to actually read musical notes enriches the remixing experience. Heaps of classic English songs are remixed and played in clubs all over the world...why not nepali songs? -JBean |

i didn't know we had so much "belittling" talents in sajha. As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks. DJbarude, I for one exception enjoyed both the music and vocals of this song in particular. Maybe timi nabhaye (one of my fav songs) was bit offtune, musu musu was great. I don't know how could everyone find it so bad? or maybe i am not so much into music, hmm or maybe i haven't listened to music since. or maybe this computer is mutating your song ;) eheh. whatever the case, enjoyed it on this gloomy sunday. PERIOD. hope to hear more remixes. |
