The Annual Business Meeting of the Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) will be held on Saturday 10th July 2004 at 4:00 P.M. at GAA premises, Thamel, Kathmandu.
Election of office bearers will also take place during the course of the annual Business Meeting. The following positions will fall vacant:
President -1
Senior Vice-President ý 1
Vice-President (Women) ý 1
Vice-President (Youth) ý 1
Executive Secretary ý 1
Treasurer ý 1
Executive Committee Members ý 7
Lady Member ý 1
Nominations for the above offices need to be filed latest by 5:00 pm on Friday 18th June 2004. The procedures for nominations and elections will be in accordance with
the GAA Constitution.

NOTE: Having put together his core team, Ashutosh Tiwari has just filed his
nomination for the presidency. His competitor is Rajeev Pradhan, a strong and
respected candidate in his own right.
Ashu has urged the GAA to hold a public debate/discussion so that the candidates
for the top position can share/discuss what their vision is for a better, more influential, more networked and alumni-centric GAA in the next year or so.
Whoever wins the election, the idea is to make the institution -- the GAA -- a more thriving, vibrant one.
