What do you think about Nepalese restaurants calling RICE as "CHAMRE BHAT?" For example, visit http://www.sagarmatha.com.au See the menu and for Bhuja they branded Pyuthane style Kesari Chamre (For yellow rice or Pulao rice). Then their are bizarre names like Karabare Bata or Majhi ko macha or tihun or bizarre PAHADI PARBATE KHAS KURO MA KHANA KO NAAM. What do you think and let us brainstorm the discourse without any negative criticism. I like to assist the development of Nepalese GASTRONOMY. As for now the world knows about Nepalese cuisine simply to be DAAL, BHAT, TIHUN and very limited vocabulary. Recently they opened Tibetean/Nepali restaurant and the names are bit better as FESTIVAL CHOICE CHICKEN COOKED IN YAK MILK etc.... Give us an input.... |
